Q: Tank capacity is only 650ml, but removes 50 pints per day. That's confusing. Does this unit have the option to empty the tank daily without the use of the hose? Or is the hose necessary to work as AC?

Perfect for my needs
Live in Canada where summers are short but enough hot days to finally go for a bit of air conditioning. Mine is a very small room and this unit works very well. I turn it on an hour or so before bed, then leave it on all night. It works very well for me, wished I\'d bought this sooner. It\'s quite loud but I\'m good with it as white noise. Note that it is heavy and the window installation can take a bit of ingenuity.

It works great. Cools and cuts humidity very well. It produces a lot of water so prepare a bucket for drainage. Batteries not included in remote. Otherwise machine works great and does it's job

Minor Quirks but Great Overall
The touch controls occasionally need multiple presses to register, but works fine once calibrated. The window installation took longer than expected because our older window frame wasn't perfectly aligned �C still held securely after tightening.
