Not my favorite anymore.
What happened Crayola? When I first found this set I was surprised by the quality. The green size 5 brush was an actual brush and the paint had really good pigment. Now the brush is a crappy red plastic brush that is put into all of your kits that never does its job and the paint doesn't have the pigment it used to. I was in love with this set and it was hard to find. Now it's crap. My daughter was in love with it too.

No. I Wouldn't recommend. Very bad quality. Colors are not vivid at all. My daughter is 5 yrs old. She likes coloring. But she didn't enjoy coloring with those colors at all.

Removable Trays - Misleading Description
Back to school shopping advice : avoid this. This tray is not a solid, long lasting container. It is very thin and not something to use at school all year. The paints are actually 3 separate trays inside that remove. The picture and description do not say that. Removable trays is not something teachers are looking for with younger students. I was expecting this to be one tray and that the paint would not be removable, like usual. Wouldn't buy for school or for home for that matter since the tray is cheaply made.

Moldy paint!
I did not purchase this. At my target all of them had mold on the color that appears to be black. There must have been something contaminated during its creation. So gross! Closely inspect if you buy or consider something else. This will get your kids sick!

Teal color stains clothes! NOT washable
Not all colors are washable! I donated the 24 pack to the classroom thinking they would be so happy to have extra colors. But the teal has stained several of my daughter's clothing items. I've tried everything - Shout, hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, but nothing has been able to remove the teal pain spots on her clothes. I don't know what other colors will stain her clothes, but I'm not taking anymore chances.

We're so sorry to hear your little one has experienced some staining with the Washable Watercolors. This isn't the colorful experience we've intended, and we greatly appreciate you reaching out. We would suggest trying the following to help remove the stain: 1. Before laundering, rinse the stain from fabric with hot water until no more color can be removed. 2. Wash in hot water with laundry detergent for about 12 minutes (heavy soil cycle). Do not put the garment in the dryer. 3. Soak in a solution of Oxi Clean or Clorox 2® according to the instructions on the container for one hour. Let the garment air dry. 4. Repeat laundering should remove any residual stains. Do not heat-dry between washings. Please let us know if you should need any further assistance by contacting us at 1-800-CRAYOLA.
