Very well made razor handle. Well weighted and reasonably secure in the hand. I don't like that the handle can get water inside it if not kept tight which is why 4 stars rather than 5.

Wow. I'm never going back. I shave with only hot water. The G-brand typically missed spots on my neck. I only had to go over each spot once. Time and skin saver. A substantive upgrade.

I bought the razor because of the look. I like the feel though a little slick in a wet hand. The biggest downside was the blade. I felt like it was dull to start and gave a rough shave. I had purchased replacement blades as well so switched out to a new blade. Same experience. As another reviewer stated, it is simply a show piece with my shaving kit shelf.

My new favorite razor. Comfortable smooth shave using CREMO shave cream. Glad I gave it a try. Razor feels substantial and i have excellent control and ergonomics.

I have been a happy customer of shampoo and shaving cream but never tried blades. Pleasantly surprised just how goid they are. Say goodbye to Gillette and Harry's as good or better and i can conveniently add to my regular orders.

I Wish the razor would stop sliding around. Cremo blades are the best I have found...the shave creams are terrific. The 2 different razor handles (wood finish and the original) both slide around while I am shaving. The is no way to get a grip on them and I have to dry the handle off with each pass while shaving

I am still getting used to the smooth surfaced handle but the razor itself is remarkable. It's holding it's sharpness much longer than expected. I have a course beard and with the design as it is it pulls right through each stroke smoothly and leaves little need for multiple passes. I am completely pleased.

LOVE the razor, and the weighted handle, but the handle is slippery when wet.

Love Cremo blades. Hate Cremo "too slick to hold" razor handles. Solution: I grafted the Cremo blade head to an unmentionable competitor's handle. Perfection.

This thing is terrible but it looks really nice. From the first shave it was pulling on stubble hairs and gave me two ingrowns that still have marks, even with a great shave cream. The lube bar is way too big and prevents the blades from even touching in line so it’s useless. Stick to your Gillette 5 blade or go safety razor. Should’ve known after they reformulated the shave cream.

I have been using this product for several months now. The blades are great and I love the feel and weight of the handle in my hand. The problem is, unless your hand is dry, the handle is extremely difficult to hold. The handle has slipped on several occasions while shaving. Once, it slipped unexpected cause the blade to move horizontally, which left several parallel cuts on my cheek.

I received this razor as a Father's day gift - and I can say that the weight of the razor and the blades are great -- If I were rating on those alone, the razor would get 5 stars. Unfortunately, as good as the handle looks, once it gets wet you can hardly hold it. If you shave in the shower (as I sometimes do), this razor simply won't do. I'm far from expert in razor design, but I would think that someone would have identified this as an issue before it was marketed.

This razor provided a cleaner, smoother shave than my previous branded specialty razor. The lubricating bars for Cremo work better for avoiding burn, and the blades are better for the hard-to-reach places. The tortoise handle does provide better balance and control and it has an attractive appearance.

I’m not sure what razors the other reviews are using but wow… this is the single worst razor I’ve ever used. Does not give a close shave at all, constantly snags and cuts the skin, the blades always fall off of the handle, and the Cremo stuff in the blade is gone after the first use. I got it because it looked nice and higher quality than my previous razor, but I guess looks can be deceiving. I’ll be going back to my less attractive but 1000x more effective Gillette

I started with Cremo cream several years ago and love it. Bought a razor kit and do like the blades for my very soft beard. But like so many others, I have to give a failing grade to the handle. Heavier than I like and WAY too slippery, especially with any residual "impossibly slick" cream on my hand. The one place where I can place my index finger to prevent twisting is the button that releases the blade. An ergonomic failure. As a further thought, you need to offer travel sized cream tubes, and a much lighter travel handle.

I bought the cremo razor because i fell in love with shave cream when I first saw it on shelves a few years ago. As soon as I saw they had come out with a razor I knew I had to try it! I feel like every other razor company is off their game right now and cremo has stepped up. Cremo please don't stop making these razors or compromising quality for cost. Best razors out there hands down and this is coming from someone that has tried every razor known to man. I have course hair on my legs and underarms and do sometimes get red bumps from other razors. Never with the cremo razor and gets super close with no pulls and they last! Don't hesitate to try this razor! Honestly my only complaint, much like others, is the slippery handle. I personally will gladly take this for how well the blades perform as I've gotten used to it so it doesn’t slip as much anymore. However a slip grip would be helpful in future designs.

I have used other razor and blade products including The Art of Shaving, Gillette, etc. None of them compare with this product in terms of a close, consistent shave, leaving no area neglected. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants an excellent result.
