Crisp and refreshing, our Cooling Shave Cream contains a lively blend of peppermint, menthol and tea tree oil to leave your skin cool and invigorated.
Cremo is an exceptional shave cream. Why? Many shave "creams" and gels are foamy formulas full of air - not the best lubricant. Cremo requires one unusually thin, foam-free layer. It's concentrated against your skin, not in a cloud that gets scraped down the drain.
Cremo contains unique molecules that become impossibly slick when mixed with water, so your blade can glide effortlessly over skin. You'll enjoy a clean, comfortable shave and astonishingly smooth skin while fighting nicks, razor burn and irritation.
How to use: This Cream is unique: please read!
Rub skin with hot water for 30 seconds (in shower works best or use a hot towel).
Cremo Shave Cream is highly concentrated and water activated. So, lightly coat skin with an almond-sized squeeze and let plenty of water mix with it. Less is often best.
Add water as needed to make & keep it slippery, effective and easy to rinse from razor.
Massage back into skin you want to re-shave.

Too many negatives; price, difficult to apply, takes WAY longer to finish a shave, and it does clog even a twin blade Sensor Excel. Now the menthol does feel nice, but it's the only positive here [and makes it 2 stars instead of 1]. Very frustrating to apply. You have to keep rewetting your fingers to try to spread it out, and even then it's no picnic. Takes 2 to 3 times more time to shave than regular shave cream. Taking longer is definitely not for me.
After over 45 yrs of shaving, I can honestly say the razor and blades make the difference, not the cream/butter/gel, etc. You do not need, nor should you want, a zillion blades in your razor. They suck. A twin blade Sensor Excel is the best I've ever used, and continue to use. Those blades are comfortable and last a very long time with an extremely close shave. Even with cheap Barbasol the shave is comfortable and WAY shorter than with this Cremo stuff.
Aubrey is a similar cream but spreads far easier, does not clog the blades and delivers a comfortable safe shave - in half the time of Cremo. I don't recommend Cremo at all.

This may seem pricey, but it lasts a long time, and works wonderfully. I have both a thick beard and sensitive skin, and normal shaving cream leaves me bloody. The cooling variety of this cream lets you know when the cream has been absorbed into your skin.
I wanted something different. I don't like any the foams, and most of the name brand shave gels, so I skip them. My beard is tough. Yes, I do have a can of Target gel, and I like it. I've seen Cremo, but never tried it. Whoa, a very tiny bit shaves my beard, and head. The directions say to use a small bit. My head is smooth, as well as my cheeks. Using only a little bit will make it last for quite a while. The razor blade also cleaned a bit more easily. The price beats the creams sold in shaving stores, and high-end department stores. The fragrance is not too strong either.
The mentholated cream is just as good as their original product, with the only difference being the coolness afterwards. This product is superior because it helps reduce ingrown hairs and shaving bumps, which was the reason I searched for it in the first place. Nothing works better in combination than a sharp blade, and ig that loses sharpness, then no cream will do the trick.
