Cremo Original Shave Cream - 6 fl oz

Cremo Cooling Formula has changed. It was a previously first rate product but it is now a third rate imitation. I have no reason to buy it anymore. I’ll pay more for a product that works.

Is my first time buying this brand, first on price is way too high, 2nd, when spread on beard doesn't feel as protective as Gillette brands as Gillette Labs or even Gillette Foamy, I also used Barbasol shave cream u feel protective and glides with secure skin, Gillette Labs has even vitamins in the shave or gels, but u feel different and more coating on the skin to protect skin. I bought 2 thinking better than Gillette Labs but not any better, is way too expensive using Cremo, would not be satisfying. All beards are different but mine oily sensitive. Not for me.

It's effective but I just don't like it. I like citrus a lot but not the scent of this. I find the silvery appearance a little unappealing. I don't particularly like the texture and how it smears on. And it really dries up after one pass, so you have to rewet the skin for a closer second pass. I would try another brand first. I honestly prefer the plain old stuff from Edge or Gillete over this.

The new version has changed the formula. I noticed it immediately when I applied it to my face. It's watery and lathers poorly, and on top it smells like a cheap lemon air freshener or urinal stone. Why in the world would they change a proven product into something like this? No longer "astonishingly superior" but rather "sadly inferior". Luckily I was able to find a few more tubes of the old version in local grocery stores, once they are used up, I'll have to move to a different brand. So sad.

Crema recently changed their formula, and the update has little in common with the original, thicker product. It was suddenly (and deceptively) swapped in my standing order. At first, I thought they just redesigned the packaging. Nope! The new shave cream is thin and far less slick. I can no longer use it for multiple passes without razor burn. For such a reliable, long-standing product, it feels like nobody tested this or compared it to the original. I’ll return my order and find something new. Bummer. Also, shame on you for not changing the product name and description. This is NOT the “Original Shave Cream,” and describing this as “Our original formula” in the description is misleading at best.

Other brands and past iterations of this product were better—now have bad razor bumps which has not been a problem before

I’ve been using Cremo for well over a decade. Hands-down was the best. Lathered with a brush and really helped reduce and eliminate the ingrown hairs I would get with other creams and multi-blade razors. Something has changed other than the package. I’ve gone through almost 2 tubes of the new stuff before realizing that it was giving me a horrible rash. Something has changed and not for the better. Gonna try the Cooling which was good in the past and the Sensitive to see if they are better than the “OG”.

The new formula is thin and awful. Please bring back your original lovely cream.

Just not the same. Went from one of the best to disappointing across-the-board. Lather is thin snd does not maintain volume. Sad.

Having used Cremo for about 7 years i reordered a product, when shipped it was not Cremo original, it had now become Cremo Citrus. They have not only changed the name but the formula. The new version is watery, unlike the highly creamy texture of the original.

I actually love Cremo and it is literally the only shave cream I have used for 6 yrs and the only one I will continue to use. The 3 stars are because the tubes aren’t full anymore. I’ve purchased from target in person, online, and from other stores and it’s the same deal. The tubes are about half full now. It’s a waste of materials - just make a smaller but full tube. Or actually fill the tubes completely like before and I guess charge more if you need to. The quality is still excellent.

This is more than a packaging change. The scent is different and the consistency is more runny. It has given me terrible razor burn when I never had that problem before. I had been happily using Cremo for many years and now disappointed to have to find something else. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Have been using Cremo shave cream for 10 years. Pretty much have tried all the different types. Been a while since I used the original so thought I'd go back to it. Since I only shave 4 times a week, it lasts about 6 months. Always a clean smooth shave.

Love this product been using it for years. Call me old fashioned but I still shave daily and this product not only smells great, it helps reduce irritation when shaving.

This is the highest quality shaving cream I've used. Only downside is that it's hard to wash off of the razor, which you'll have to do frequently. If you want the smoothest shave ever, you have to put in the extra time and effort. Worth it IMO.

We needed the travel size for a trip. While I prefer the Refreshing Mint, I just settled for the original shaving cream. It is okay for this trip.

Hoping someone at Cremo sees this. They need to check production quality. I've been using it off and on for a couple of years but the tube I'm using now literally smells like mayonnaise. I'm not joking. I had to throw it in the trash after second use since my head smelled like a sandwich topping all day. Incredibly gross. Prior to that it was ok. It's slick and works well for head shaving. However, I find that it often has a dry and lumpy texture and can be tricky to use. I add a couple drops of water to even it out. Not as creamy as I prefer. It is very concentrated and long - lasting as advertised. Tends to have a weird smell in general. Like I said, production consistency needs improvement.

I heard about Cremo shave cream years ago on the Michael Savage radio show, I decided to try it and have not used anything else since. Cremo shave cream gives me a comfortable smooth shave every time, I refuse to use anything else. Combine the cream with their blades and you have one heck of a Great shave.

I love Cremo products except for the shaving cream. The suggested amount to be used is hardly adequate for shaving. I've tried 2 to 3 times the amount and getting it to lather and spread over the face is a chore.
