A: While you shouldn't eat or drink (with the exception of water) while using our Crest Whitestrips, there's no particular foods or beverages that you have to avoid during the treatment period. It may be helpful to know that research shows our Whitestrips are effective for people who have stains from coffee, tea, dark sodas, red wine and even a few fruits and vegetables which are proven causes of discolored teeth. If you continue to use staining substances such as these, your teeth may discolor again.

Light stopped working after one use.
My light only lasted for one use! There’s no easy way to open it and only stays on for 30 seconds-ish at a time. To clarify, when I say one use I mean one whitening strip worth, not a whole box.

Months of pain
Used it for 3 days before my teeth were in pain from extreme sensitivity. Hundreds of dollars spent on dentist appointments and still in pain months later.

If you develop significant tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort, we recommend stopping usage for 2-3 days, then resume usage or alternating between using an upper and lower strip. Doing so will cause whitening to take longer, but will not affect the overall whitening results. Avoid brushing too hard or more than twice a day during treatment, and consider using a softer toothbrush instead of a medium or hard-bristle brush. However, if you experience extreme sensitivity, we advise discontinuing use of the product altogether. Your feedback is important to us and will be shared with our Safety Team. The instructions are clear and jrs very easy to do. I just don't think its smart to do any whitening while my teeth are still so sensitive.

Thankfully, I did not have this experience at all. They worked great, did not hurt or cause any dental pain or sensitivity issues and it was slower to remove stains, it did eventually work! Good job!

These aren’t going to make a huge difference after only one use like some strips will because these are a gentler formula for sensitive teeth. If you’re looking for quick results you may need to try other ones. If you’re willing to wait in order to avoid super sensitive teeth, then these are a great option. The strips are a good size and stick pretty well without moving around a bunch. They do have a bit of a weird sensory feel (like other strips) so if you have sensory issues I would avoid this.
