Because of arthritis in my hands, opening cans has been darn near impossible. This electric can opener is easy to use. I’m thrilled. Love that the top stays on until I lift it off after opening.

This is the best! Black and Decker was more expensive and needed manual intervention with every can. I've tossed three of the hand held safety edge openers. The last one was still attached to the can. I love my Cuisinart! Finally!!

We have been struggling with a manual can opener until it broke. We decided to go back to electric and it is so much better. This product is tall enough for any can height. It is a little tricky to locate the can properly but once it is in the right spot, the opener works very well.

Finally, I can throw away the electric can opener that sometimes worked and sometimes not and even then after 4-5 separate attempts in moving the can in this or that position! This machine does not do that. One try and it's done. It does have some minuses--it does allow the can to drip so I put a paper towel below while it is cutting the can. And because it has a little "bump" below the cutter it will not open #10 cans. That bump may be what was lacking in the other can opener...the bump supports the can in place. The case fits my kitchen decor and it has clean lines.
Trust the brand!!! Cuisinart first!
