A: Preheat Indicator The Bake and Broil functions of the Cuisinart ® Basket Air Fryer have a preheat feature. With food prepped and ready to cook, press Bake or Broil with the basket in the Air Fryer, and then press Start/Stop. Preheat will display on the control panel. When the unit is preheated, an audio alert of 5 tones will sound, and the cooking time will flash. Remove the basket from the Air Fryer, carefully add the prepared food, and then return the basket to the unit. The countdown timer will start.

A: Kathy, the AIR-200 does not feature a speicifc "toast" option. However, some guests appear to be using it "toast" and are having success.

I have made chicken wing and drumettes three times in it. I it is a bit of a learning phase and I look up directions and recipes but the chicken wings turned out fabulous. They were lemon pepper and also I made sweet chili chicken wings and I could fit like 17 to 18 of them in the basket. More delicious than some of the restaurants that I've tasted before makes them just the way I like them. Also, I've tried meatloaf in it too and it turned out pretty delicious. And I've also made chicken drumsticks in it with seasoning on them and they turned out pretty decent. And of course any of the frozen pre-cooked foods and wings. I've done those in there also besides fresh raw and they turn out very well. It's very easy to clean and so much room in it. I absolutely love it!

I had my previous Airfryer ( a different brand) for 10 years and was weary about trying a new brand, this was far exceeded my expectations, to start with, I had no idea how loud my old one was until this one, it’s so quiet , great size basket and I like all the features , I overall love this and no complaints

Only used once so far and was frustrated by its use. When stopped to flip items, have to reset temp and time again. Took much longer than my previous other brand air fryer for two items tried so far and longer than it said in this models booklet. Will try another item but maybe returning. Like the square pan it uses rather than circular of my old one. only thing so far I like.

There is no pre-heat function so you need to adjust your time and monitor it yourself unless you want to add food to a cold air fryer. The beep noise this thing makes is obnoxiously loud for any button you press. It pierces your ears. Lastly, the unit should return to last used settings upon turning on instead of the default 450 degrees and 20 min. It's not realistic. Pros are that its easy to clean and the window with light feature. Would I purchase this model again? Probably not.

I have become familiar with the many settings and find that each has been easy to use with good results. The menu is angled so it is easy to view which I really appreciate. The glass view is lighted but I can only see well on the left side. It would be nice if the appliance had a on/off feature instead of having to unplug it.
