A: Preheat Indicator The Bake and Broil functions of the Cuisinart ® Basket Air Fryer have a preheat feature. With food prepped and ready to cook, press Bake or Broil with the basket in the Air Fryer, and then press Start/Stop. Preheat will display on the control panel. When the unit is preheated, an audio alert of 5 tones will sound, and the cooking time will flash. Remove the basket from the Air Fryer, carefully add the prepared food, and then return the basket to the unit. The countdown timer will start.

A: Kathy, the AIR-200 does not feature a speicifc "toast" option. However, some guests appear to be using it "toast" and are having success.

Fast, Reliable, and Easy to Use

This air fryer is more than expected. I got a great deal so I my expectations were low. However, it has various settings like air fry, roast and bake. It can fit up to 4 servings of medium size steaks/chicken breast. It is super quiet and looks exquisite on my new quartz counters.

Very good with two annoying quirks
This air fryer is excellent at its intended purpose; however, there are two things about it that I don't like: 1) there is no automatic preheat for the "Air Bake" setting, and 2) when not in use, the display reads OFF in bold letters [as if I don't know that it is off]. All-in-all, the user interface on the less expensive Brand "G" product that I previously owned was easier to use.

This is my first stab at an air fryer and i think it's wonderful! i hate having skillets and pots to wash, with the air fryer combing meal ingredients makes me happy! Easy cooking, even easier clean up. I am sold on the process and the Cuisinart make.

6qt basket air fryer
I got this to replace an older air fryer I had. This one has more room, very precise with the temperature. Love that I can also bake in it. Beats heating up the kitchen with the oven. Still trying out different features but it’s been great.
