Cuisinart Chef's Classic 12qt Stainless Steel Pasta/Steamer Set - 77-412: Kitchen Cookware Set, Dishwasher-Safe

I’ve had this since 2010 and it is one of the most useful items in my kitchen. I use it mostly for making vegetable stock, but also when I am canning and making tomato sauce, relish, applesauce, and other things. After 15 years of using this pot only this year did I realize that the handle of the insert and the pot lock onto each other so I can allow the vegetables in the stock pot to drain without holding the pot.

I ordered this to use with my new induction oven. It is amazing! I make a lot of chicken stock, and using the pasta insert while cooking allows me to strain my stock very quickly. It heats up fast on my new range. I’m so glad I have this.

This set seems to be well built and was able to boil water in a decent amount of time for a 12 qt. I haven't tried the steamer basket yet, but it's worth noting just how much cleaning this pot required before I could even use it. All of the drain holes and even two of the rims still had grease from the manufacturing process stuck in/on them. A simple wash wasn't enough to remove it (drying after that first wash left black grease marks on my dish towels), so I had to soak in hot water with Dawn for several hours to soften. The little grease plugs from the holes started to come out with a little more scrubbing action and were noticeable floating in the water. So glad that didn't end up in my family's food!

Beautiful 12 qt pot and strainer. Well made . The only precaution is to slowly lift the strainer out , otherwise water sprays out , otherwise I have no complaints. I have used it several times in the past month and am very pleased with it.

A great addition to a good Cook's kitchen, a 3 in 1 variety pot. Quality is great and easily washes with bar tender friend and steel wool, like the rest of my stainless steel Cuisinart art collection that I have had now for 5 years. It is large and tall, so make sure you have the cabinet space for it.

I received this pasta pot set for Christmas, and yesterday was my first time using it. I truly love it. I've been wanting a pasta pot set for a while. Now the tips of my pastas no longer burn with this style pot. Everything about it is great. It has sooooo many uses, not just for pasta. I had seen a few reviews where consumers mentioned their pot stained, but I beleive it's simply user error. I washed my set, and towel dried before it's first use. Then after I used it, I washed it, and towel dried it; no stains at all. If you follow the given care instructions (wash and immediately dry it after use), you should never have any problems with this set. I feel like the quality of this product is top-notch and will allow for countless years of usage. I would recommend this pasta pot set to anyone.

Other than being a little thin and lacking a glass lid with a deeper seating rim, this pot set is just about perfect.

This pot is well made and very versatile. I made chicken and beef stock broth in it. Placed veggies for flavor with bones in the basket. Easy clean up. Loved it. Made large pot of sauce with meatballs, loved it. Pasta is fabulous. Steaming vegetable is great with the little basket. This is a great pot.
