Cuisinart Precision Master 5.5qt Stand Mixer

It is an ok mixer but not worth the recent price increase. It is not as durable as my 15 year old KA, there is no beater with scraper that fits, and chrome paint is chipping off. If it is going to be the same cost as a more durable mixer, than I would just buy that instead.

I put off for many years before purchasing a a stand mixer then I wavered between a Cuisinart and a Kitchenaid mixer. To save a little money I decided on the Cuisinart mixer and, so far, I love it. I especially like the fruit and ice cream maker. I wish Cuisinart had a few more attachments to equal Kitchenaid's attachments but I'm so glad I finally have a quality stand mixer!

Bought the stand mixer because I make a lot of bread, pizza, and pasta dough. Mixer is very well made and does a great job with all doughs. Highly recommend.

I have used this product twice for baking pastries, and I am currently satisfied with its performance. I anticipate it will last for at least another ten years. Cuisinart is a reputable brand, and their lifetime warranty is a significant advantage.

This is a professional machine, in my opinion. It makes everything to do with mixing so easy. And it’s attractive. You just need the space to store it somewhere. Or just leave it on the counter, since it is appealing to look at.

The attachments are wonderful, easy to use and clean. The array of colors that were offered for the mixer made it harder to choose, because they were all beautiful.

I like that the speed selector and all other parts are made in such a way that powdered sugar and such cannot get in it. Also the noise level is much quieter than my last mixer. I’m very happy with it! I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Very user friendly Love my Cuisinart stand up mixer

As the first machine I had was exchanged on warranty due to the motor overheating, this is the second mixer I have had. Sadly, it behaves much like the first. What I thought was a bad motor seems to simply be the way the machine is designed - unable to do what it is supposed to do for more than a few minutes at a time. Mixing a basic bread dough should be simple enough, 2 cups of water and 6 cups of flour, but this thing has the hardest time with it. Once the dough begins to bind together, the mixer begins struggling, and struggling hard. I can watch it get bound by the dough nearly each rotation, and I only have the setting on 3, the lowest of the settings for bread advised in the manual. The motor then begins overheating and risking a shutdown. I have yet to attempt anything else, like cookies or cakes, as I generally only bake bread. Perhaps it works better with things like those but I find it difficult to believe if it overheats with something as simple as bread dough after just 5 minutes of mixing.

Arguably one of the best kitchen appliances I have owned. Baking has never been easier using a stand mixer, especially making dough and cakes. Not to mention, the meat grinding attachment has been extraordinary, making ground beef and sausage packing too easy.

I had a Kitchen aid that had gotten too heavy to lift for me….looking for something lighter and saw this on Amazon…loved the color and the price….and the weight was perfect…have used it more in two weeks than the Kitchen aid in 5 years…it doesn't jump around on the counter…does a great job. The thing I actually like best is the lock on the mixer arm ….very secure - the speeds are easy to use and go from one to another very smoothly….all in all very happy with my choice.
