DampRid Hanging Bag Unscented Air Freshner - 46.2oz/3pk

I bought one box of these, and they worked exactly as advertised. Filled a bag in a month in each of two closets. Put the third one in as a replacement in the first closet and bought a new box for the replacement in the second closet. Bag from old box is working as advertised; bag from new box hasn't collected a drop. Not sure if it has to do with the fact that the second box had balls instead of powder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have these hanging in 2 of our closets, as well as one underneath our sink, which used to leak. These are cool! They just hang there, no scent or anything, and the crystals starts to dissolved when they soak up the moisture. Not sure if I'm explaining it correctly, but that's my interpretation. Excess moisture ends up collecting in the bottom of the bag, so that you can see it's working. This will keep your closets from smelling musty. If I still had a basement I would have these hanging there for sure!

This can cause unwanted musty smells and even cause problems with mold/mildew if you do not stay on top of it. DampRid Hanging Moisture Absorber is the answer for us. It pulls moisture out of the air and helps eliminate smells that may accumulate. These are the easiest and cheapest way to take care of both of those problems. You simply take the bags out of the packaging and hang them in your closets, bathroom, kitchen, or wherever is convenient for you and let DampRid go to work. The bags have two compartments, one full of the DampRid crystals and one where the water (from moisture in the air) collects. We change the bags every 2 months or when water has reached the full line, whichever comes first. This has definitely been a game changer for us and we can feel the difference in the air.

My house has a lot of window (none of which are particularly thick) so a lot of humidity from outside gets trapped inside. And then add moisture from the shower. Within a couple days of hanging up the moisture absorbers, the bag is 1/3 of the way filled. This product really works! I put them in each bathroom and each closet.

I have them all over my house in every bedroom closest, laundry room, both bathrooms and my office. These are great and works the way they should. Originally, I thought these would be super nifty for my small home in South Carolina, where humidity is extremely high, so naturally it's quite humid inside my home as well. I found these Hanging Moisture Absorbers a bit of a nuisance in more ways than one. First of all, they are insanely huge. I imagined they wouldn't be so big and noticeable. Secondly and most importantly, I didn't notice any change in moisture levels in my very small home whatsoever, so I was disappointed. Also, I have 1 cat and 2 small dogs and although this product is hangable and no where near the floor for my dogs to get to, my cat loves to explore high and low, and after 2 weeks of using it, I never noticed any of my pets trying to get to it, but it still worried me constantly, and finally I couldnt bear the anxiety anymore and took it down.

Living in Florida between the humidity and the crazy weather constantly changing seasons (all in a day, lol) both being moisture factors in my house, I always keep dampRid in stock my opinion can never have enough. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put one of these in my walk-in closet and after 2 weeks hanging there the amount of water removed is about 1/4 of the bag. It seems to be working but obviously there isn't much humidity in the closet to fill up the bag. I am not sure how long that will take but will continue to use it until it is full to get a better idea of how it works. Still happy to know some humidity is being removed from the area I keep my clothes.
