Used it once and worked great. Put back in the freezer, and got it out for the second use, and the bottom was bulged and cracked. Figured out a way to level it and make ice cream, but when the cooling bowl thawed, all the freezer solution leaked out. Dash customer support was no help; they said to return to Target. Now it's out of stock so I guess it was a bust...

Daughter wanted to make ice cream and saw this on sale for a good price. My expectations were not very high as it was very inexpensive and didn't have many reviews. This little cream maker is so worth the $$!! We love how easy it is to whip up a quick, homemade ice cream batch in whichever flavor our hearts desire. And the built in popsicle maker is such a great bonus!! We have yet to use that but you can tell everything is very well made. Just make sure to plan ahead and freeze the bowl before hand. We just keep ours in the freezer whenever we're not using so it's always ready. Highly recommend!! Daughter is over the moon with this little ice cream maker. She even wants to start a little ice cream stand for our block. It's awesome!! 🥰

Recipe Makes a Difference
This works well, but the recipe really matters. My first batch didn’t freeze properly because I used too many stabilizing ingredients. After adjusting the recipe, the second batch came out great. Once you find the right balance, it’s easy to use and makes good ice cream.

Difficult to use

There only weakness is...
Dash producteur are great! I own several of them. There ice-cream makers are among them. BUT they have 1 weakness: the plastic gears in there motor. Their teeth tend to wear off if the ice-cream thickens sooner than expected, while the spatula is still spinning.

Perfect size
