Standard chocolate chips contain stabilizers, so they will require about 1.5tsp per oz. Belgian chocolate specifically formulated for fountains have a higher cocoa butter content, needing closer to 1tsp per oz. If the chocolate starts to drip add a small amount of vegetable oil or cream to get a thinner consistency.     Not the best

    The chocolate fountain instructions were easy to understand but the machine itself was super hard to clean after one use. I had to put boiling water on it and take it off. Although I put more than half of the bowl filled with chocolate I watched some videos and followed their steps. After I turned the fountain on not only did it NOT melt the chocolate but it didn’t do the fountain affect and I had to intervene and melt the chocolate instead of it doing it for me. It is not worth the money and melting chocolate in a bowl would be way more clean and fun.

    disappointed kids

    I wouldn't even give this a one-star rating but I had to pick something. It definitely doesn't even own up to one star. Very disappointing product! Yes, it created a chocolate fountain for about 3 minutes... then all the chocolate began to harden and within 7 minutes you couldn't even use it anymore. And the task of cleaning it was absolutely a nightmare! If it would of worked properly I would of been much more accepting of the ridiculous process it takes to clean this thing but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Don't buy this product, it's a waste of time, money and your children's excitement! This is so pointless that it makes a regular bowl of melted chocolate much more enjoyable 😞

    Piece of junk

    Do not waste your time with this. I spent an hour of my time (with my excited kids) trying to get this thing to work. It kept burning and clumping the chocolate. After emptying it out and starting over…and then watching it like a hawk and stirring the chocolate in the bowl with a spoon so it wouldn’t melt, the chocolate barely even went up through the center to pump out. It never over flowed to make a fountain. What a disappointment and a waste of time and money. Also, who wants to clean this thing out?!

    Chocolate delight

    I purchased my fountain earlier this (2/9/26) after a disaster with an older fountain that had a shallow pan. This one works nicely but it did seize up after about an hour. Easy to clean. Works well otherwise.
