Dawn Platinum EZ-Squeeze Dish Soap, Dishwashing Liquid, Grease Removal, Fresh Rain, 4x24.3oz Bundle

I really don't like this new Platinum Dawn. I hate the Smell and it does not clean as well as the Original. I have to use twice as much to get the grease off my pans. I won't be buying this again. The Original smelled good and worked Excellent! I used it for many years! Don't waste your money!

Smells really cheap . Smells bad like cheap dollar store soap. YUCH!

I love Dawn dish soap but this batch with the Fresh Rain scent smells like suntan lotion! It's not horrible, but it is not what I expected from "Fresh Rain"!!😁 Also seems less "sudsy" and is difficult to rinse off. I'll buy a different version next time.

We just finished an old bottle of Dawn and was surprised to find that the new bottles have a vastly different scent. WHY??? The new scent is horrible and overpowering and doesn't seem to rinse off well. I rinse and rinse and still that horrible smell is there. If I don't use gloves, the smell remains on my hands so I have to wash my hands with another soap to get it off. Why did you change from a pleasant mild scent to this awful scent. We have 3 big jugs of it which we will be returning. Can't even keep them in the house. Had to out them in the garage. I did a search, and found that I'm not the only one who hates the new scent. Please bring back the old scent. Until you do, I have to switch brands.

I love dawn dishsoap but the new fresh scent dmell is nauseating! I can't even stand to smell it on my hands after dished. Idk what happened .I used to like the smell but not the new one on platinum!

Just had to replace an old large bottle and the new smell is so strong and bad that I’m going to have to find another brand of dish soap to use! Smells almost like sunscreen to me.

Jan 2025 Dawn Platinum Fresh Rain: This dish soap has a very bad and strong smell. Very intense like harsh laundry soap, and hard to rinse off, too. Contradicts Dawn's advertisements where you use less water with Dawn, on the contrary, I've never used this much water to remove that intense off the smell. Not sure how Dawn's testing labs did not identify this smell as a problem. We'll go back to Dawn original.

We can no longer use this soap. The new scent is off-putting and very strong. I can't cook in the kitchen if we're washing dishes, as the smell of the Dawn overpowers everything else. Which is awful as it's a BAD smell. Worse, this new formula doesn't rinse off. I've tried using less soap. I rinse my dishes at least twice as long as I used to, and not only do they still smell bad after they dry, but I can taste the soap in my food and drink, especially when it's on cooking vessels like pots. I have actually thrown out pasta after boiling it and tasting the Dawn soap while eating it. We are switching brands, as it's intolerable. I really loved you old formula, sad to switch after a lifetime of using Dawn.

Absolutely hate the new scent! Terrible. And it doesn’t seem to get as sudsy as before! Change it back!

Love this stuff so easy to use. Just a thought- it would be nice to be able to get a much better bottle that would look better at the sink. Plainer or something. I’m talking about the EZ-squeeze.

I just opened up a new bottle of this rain scent and while I love the bottle concept this rain scent is terrible. What happened to the Dawn platinum scent that I knew and loved? Now I’m sad the huge bottle I just finished that had the old scent is gone and I’m left with this new version with the yucky smell.

I have used Dawn for over 40 years and have discarded or given away other dish soaps that do not have the original Dawn smell I love. The first bottle of this I purchased was dark blue and was unknowingly in the 'Refreshing Rain Scent.' It smelled like diaper rash cream and I couldn't use it. I bought a new bottle in the regular blue color, only to find that is now has a 'Clean Scent' that makes me nauseous to use. My house, dishes, and hands all smell like this terrible 'new scent' and I went online in search of the original scent. How could it possibly be discontinued?! PLEASE bring it back! In the meantime, I'll be searching for a new dish soap with a smell that doesn't make me want to throw up.

First of all, I love this new redesign for Dawn dish soap. It's perfect! The other way (with the flip top lid) always got gummy and was just a pain in the rear end to use and then clean off and then not try to get dish soap everywhere and all over the counters and in the cupboard (especially with little kids eager to help wash up). So I really want to give this five stars. If I would have picked up any other scent in this product, I probably would have given it five stars. But unfortunately, I accidentally picked up refreshing rain scent and didn't realize it until I finally opened it this weekend. Every time I've used it I couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from when I was running water. I thought that something had died somewhere in our pipes, or maybe there was something up under our sink that I had missed and hadn't completely scrubbed out. It was driving me crazy! It got to the point where I stopped using the dish soap, and just ran water to check and make sure that it wasn't anything in our pipes or in the sink; I switched to only using my power wash sprayer during that time (unscented). But the scent did not recreate itself any of the other times except for when I try to fill up the sink with this "refreshing rain scent" dish soap. I honestly thought I was going crazy at one point this weekend. Then this morning, I had some dishes that needed to be hand washed. So, I started to fill the sink up and I added the dish soap to the hot water. Immediately, both of my girls (who were in a separate part of the kitchen) smelled it and started to blame the dog for the stinky, musty, water smell. So yeah, theory is confirmed that this horrible smell unfortunately is coming from a brand new opened bottle of Dawn dish soap. This makes me so sad firstly because I just opened this bottle and secondly because I honestly had no clue when I purchased it that it was scented. The packaging on it looks just like the unscented brand. When I'm in the store with my kids and distracted, no matter how much I'm trying to focus on my list, it's a mistake easily made. This scent should not exist. So buyer beware, if you think that it's going to smell like what outside smells after the rain storms, it doesn't. If you're looking for the unscented brand, check really well on your label to make sure it says unscented before you go throwing that in the cart. This "refreshing rain scent" smells like an old musty house that has not been properly dehumidified and left to sit on its own for too many years before somebody decides to finally buy it and gut it to get all the mold out before making it their own. The only reason I'm giving this thing three stars is because the ez-squeeze redesign is amazing. But the smell makes me gag and it lingers. It hangs around for as long as that sink is full of dish soap and then until you scrub it out with something stronger to remove the smell all together. Give me unscented or a citrus any day over this please! But now I have to go through this 18 oz bottle. Eeeee

This New Smell Ain’t It, This Literally Smells Like Poop And It Used To Be One Of My Favorite Scents And Soap

THE SMELL !!! Unfortunately I have a large refill bottle that we are working our way through. Every time I do dishes I do a double take on what I am smelling then quickly remember it is the dish soap. This Rain Scent to me smells like a very old musty house - like a great aunt's house. That unpleasant musty smell that permeates all the furniture and clothes in the house. I am not a dish soap connisseure but I suppose the soap is effective enough. But the smell!!!

Do you realize how hard it is to get that tiny "seal" off the bottle? I resorted to using tweezers to get it off. Please make the seal with a larger starting tab

I should’ve bought this bottle I was thinking it doesn’t leak while standing upright but majority of my liquid leaked out.
