A: I haven’t had a problem using it on acrylic shower enclosures or the glass. Social media has us mixing dawn with white vinegar and water so I tried it alone.

A: Spruce is a non-selective contact herbicide. A non-selective herbicide is a product formulated to kill all types of vegetation, including weeds and grasses. Therefore we have not done the research on if Spruce will kill mold.

A: Hi, Aleah. Like traditional dish soaps, Dawn Powerwash Dish Spray is not designed for use in the dishwasher. The high level of suds could cause your dishwasher to oversuds and create a mess.

Q: Can you use this as a pre-wash spray for heavy, stuck-on-food specific dishes, that will be sitting overnight in the dishwasher. Alternatively, would it be OK to run the dishwasher’s pre-wash cycle with some dishes that have been treated with the spray?

A: If you mean can this be used in the dish washer the answer is NO. If you spray this on the dishes and let sit overnight spray off before you put them in the dishwasher or the washer will over suds.

A: Dawn Powerwash Dish spray can be used to clean the exterior of porcelain-enameled steel and stainless steel stoves. However, it has not been tested for cleaning oven interiors, so it should not be used as an oven cleaner.

If you have any concerns, test the Spray in an inconspicuous area first before cleaning to ensure no damage. Feel free to use your product on Corian, granite, quartz, porcelain, and stainless steel.

This product is AWESOME!! I suffered an injury resulting in a compound fracture of my ankle. I was wearing white shorts when this occurred and with the amount of blood loss my shorts were covered in blood. My finance wanted to through them away, but I love those shorts so I told him to saturate them with Dawn Powerwash spray and wash them in cold water. I was completely AMAZED at the results. There was no trace whatsoever of any blood stains. I am still in awe of these results and tell everybody how great the Dawn Powerwash works.

You've changed the formula and scent!!! I have been a HUGE fan of this product. Literally used it on everything from the kitchen (loved how easily it cleaned the stainless steel refrigerator and sink!,) to laundry, and removing stains on rugs, furniture, shoes, and clothing. It was a product I recommended to family and friends..until you made these changes. This "updated" product does not do a good job, even with several applications, and the scent is overwhelmingly awful! The scent is literally an assault on my nose! Will be returning the 6 bottles I bought.

So my first thought was, “how can Dawn get any better?” Well Internet this stuff works as advertised. I was cleaning a stove with years of built up grime and grease and this cut through it like I couldn’t believe! Definitely worth the extra money (compared to regular Dawn).

Thanks, Joe, for picking up a Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray Refill, and using your previously purchased sprayer to dispense the product. We're sorry to learn that your sprayer's not working now. It might help to know that our Quality Team shares that each sprayer should last around 5 bottles. After 4-6 bottles, it's not unusual for the sprayer to need to be replaced. When you move the sprayer to a new refill bottle, be sure that the dip tube’s facing the same direction as the nozzle. Note that the tube bends. The bottom of it should be facing the same way as the nozzle. Speaking of the nozzle, check that it’s not clogged. If it is, run warm water over the nozzle for a few minutes to loosen any clogs that may have occurred. Let us know if this helps, by calling us any Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, EST. We’re happy to help at 1 (800) 725-3296.

I like the concept of the dawn power wash, but as I see here now many people are having the same problem I’m having with the sprayed not working correctly. If it doesn’t spray, some times I can get it to spray if I loosen the sprayer. Frustrating most of the time.

Check that the two yellow half-circles, on the top of the sprayer and nozzle, are correctly aligned to form a full yellow circle. Once that’s done, give the trigger a full pull, slow and steady, all the way back to the bottle. You should see a semi-continuous spray of foamy soap leave the nozzle. The spray itself is excellent. However the sprayer trigger is flimsy and bent over on the third squeeze. I have 2 1/2 bottles left and the nozzle won’t spray because the trigger won’t press the plunger.

The best tool at your sink for stubborn pots and pans. This product truly shorten my cleanup time after dinner. However, the added bonus is getting to use it on many other things. When I have grease spilled on my counter, I simply spray it down and wipe it up and it’s gone. I’ve used it to pre-treat laundry stains as well. I’m sure I will be discovering more uses.

I have used this for quite a while and lo e it for dishes and household cleaning.....but today it saved the day! On our way to an appointment a pickup truck ahead of us dropped a container of paint on the road and we had no way to avoid the spill. Needless to say we had paint splatter all over our car. When we returned home several hours later we started to was the car. The paint had dried by then and it was not easily coming off. I got the Dawn Power wash and sprayed all the areas. We let it set for a few minutes and the paint wiped right off. Thank you Dawn Power wash....you saved the day!

I think the strength of this soap is both its pro and con. I use it for grease stains on laundry and sometimes the stovetop and oven but it’s so strong that the smell of it is so overpoweringly chemically. For that reason I don’t care to use it on dishes in case of accidental ingestion.

Whoever designed this spray bottle clearly doesn't wash dishes or use them at all because it's so difficult to use for spraying dishes. I can't even get a good grip on it—it keeps slipping out of my hands.
