A: Thank you for your Interest in Delta Children Products. Use only the mattress provided by Delta Children’s Products.Which must be at least 37 7/8 inches long by 23 7/8 inches wide and not more than 6 inches thick.

A: Get a different mattress! Everything else is great, but definitely invest in a 5-inch deep and firmer mattress. That should help with reaching in for baby as well.

Q: This crib says two different height positions, but I can’t figure out how to pull it up. The lowest position feels too low for a newborn, I can barely place her in it with such a far reach.

A: Thank you for your question. If you go to page 14 in the assembly manual and 15 it will detail how to adjust the mattress deck.

I’m not confident that once the baby starts moving and rolling that this is a safe option. I wish they had an upgrade option.

Great crib, mattress not safe

Giving this 3 stars because while the crib itself was easy to put together and so far seems fine, the mattress it comes with is not safe. I didn’t realize it was a waterproof mattress. You can’t take the awful vinyl plastic cover off. We used this mattress a couple nights and my baby woke up sweating both nights. Babies under 1 should not be sleeping on a waterproof mattress. We ended up buying a Newton mini crib mattress as that mattress is breathable and it fits into crib great and baby is sleeping safer now.

The crib itself is nice and sturdy. However, the mattress is low quality and will have an indent in it within a few nights. Recommend buying a better mattress to go with the crib.

Love this Crib! I've bought 2 over the last 4 years. One for my daughter which I gave away before I knew I was expecting again. This crib is a must and a win for small places. Perfect amount of space for newborn all the way up to toddler aged. Mattress height can be adjusted. This crib is great on the pocket too.

I just received the item today and it already has multiple cosmetic damages. This makes me unsure about the longevity of the product. The cover/plastic on the mattress also isn't tight fitting, which is concerning.

These are great as cribs, but don’t expect them to “convert” to twin beds. You keep one side as a headboard and then have to buy an entirely different kit to use, and the mattress isn’t even compatible. Loved these as cribs, but they’re pretty bad for half-truth advertising that these can be used as-is for their first twin beds.

We have used this crib for the last 3 months since our son was born. It takes 2 people to assemble but we did it in a few hours. We did not have any issues with smell out of the box or paint chipping. I picked this crib because it fit the Newton Baby Mini Crib Mattress that I wanted, so I don’t have anything to say on the mattress that comes with it. Overall, I’d recommend if you are looking for a mini crib!

A great crib for smaller spaces or if you just aren’t to keen on a full-size crib. I love that it can convert to a twin sized bed. The crib was easy to assemble and packaged well to prevent scratches during delivery. Only downside was the mattress. It was a little thinner than I preferred (2.75in), but still seemed comfortable enough for my baby. Love Delta Children furniture.

I really wanted to love this crib due to the amount of positive reviews however, the smell is horrific. Not sure how others don’t smell what is emanating off of this crib. We took it out of the box and put it right back in to return. It’s too potent and not even worth waiting to see if the smell would disappear or not.

Too big for a different mattress

Only buy this crib if you are OK with the pad that comes with it. It is too big to fit any other standard mini crib mattress. The “mattress” that comes with it is more of a pad and is extremely crinkly sounding. Luckily my daughter is small and doesn’t move a lot but I know as she grows she would 100% wake up from the noise. This pad is also way too soft for an infant to sleep on it.
