First, please rotate the setting knob in a clockwise motion to the "59" minute marker (do not turn past the "0", as this will damage the mechanism). This is such a beautiful timer for the price. So much cheaper than similar timer’s of this style on other websites. The gold looks nice and it makes a louder sound to hear when it’s done. I use it for my kiddo’s rest time and for various things.

Beautiful desk timer. Gold colored, once you set timer it ticks until time is up then rings. The ticking is rather loud. I like how it shows the time left. You can easily see if time is getting low.

Love the aesthetic of the design of this desk timer. The gold color is very pretty. It’s lightweight and doesnt take up much space. I like how when you set the timer it shades the amount of time set in a transparent gold color. When the timer goes off it dings for about 3 seconds then stops. I use it for timed tasks at my desk but I also sometimes bring it into the kitchen when trying to cook and multitask. Overall happy with its functionality and style. Thank you.

My daughter uses this desk timer while she is baking and she loves it. She just takes it into whichever room she is in to wait for it to go off. It’s cute, looks slightly anyiquey and works great. The buzz is not super off putting.

I am really enjoying timer. It was a bit bulkier than I expected but I like the fact that I can see it from across the room. I enjoy the audio feedback of the ticking down and the old school ringing sound. I've been seeing people using timers for cleaning and it has helped me stay on task. A couple of cons: the timer face overlaps itself and cheapens the look. the timer continues to tick for many seconds after the buzzer (not a huge deal, kinda standard with most timers of this type and the instructions do note this aspect).

Awesome desk timer. It’s $8 so you kinda get what you pay for but it gets the job done! If you’re on a budget and want to start time managing better (ex: giving yourself breaks between studying) this would be a great starting tool. Highly recommend. Make sure to use the instructions. It was a bit confusing at first.

I had high hopes for this timer, but it is pretty disappointing. The gold color is very fake and yellow looking. At one point it was set and it didn’t even buzz at the end. I do like the gold color on the dial once the timer is set.

This was shipped in a plastic sleeve and not even a box… obviously arrived damaged. Target needs to get it together with their shipping procedures.

It's a nice timer. It's not anything fancy. It's a simple spring based timer so no batteries are necessary, which is a nice change of pace (not everything needs to be digital and require batteries/charging). It's easy to read because the numbers a a good size and there is a gold circle that fills the time left space, so even if you can't read the numbers you can get an approximation based on how much of the clock face is full. The ringer is loud enough to hear from another room and is comparative to any wind up kitchen timer I've had. My only negatives are it's a high gloss and will be a fingerprint magnet, and it's a little light so it might get knocked around too easy in a tight location. Doesn't stop it it from doing its job, though.
