Q: The smaller size says machine washable but the runner says spot clean. Is it indeed machine washable? Or is that an error?

A: Hello - This product is machine washable. The reason we put spot clean on the care instructions is because it may not physically fit into your washing machine. It’s only because of it’s size. This rug did not hold up and I’ve only had it for a month. It states the rug is washable, but it is not. I went to wash it and the backing fell apart leaving small pink flakes all over the washer. Would not recommend purchasing.

Loved the pattern of this rug! It’s very pretty. However, the quality is very poor. The rug itself is very thin. States it is washable. However, the stitching completely comes undone, even if you wash it on a gentle cycle and do not dry.

Rubber backing fell apart in the washer and latex was all over the machine drum. Edges of mat began to curl upward and ruined the rug. I had two diff sizes and it happened to both. Beautiful design but poor quality.

Love this Luna runner rug. I have an extremely small galley style kitchen as you can see! This rug completely brightened up the space and it is pretty soft for a woven rug. Bonus— it is nonslip and literally does not move at all! Eyed this beauty for a few days, luckily snagged the last one at my local Target. So definitely buy it already before it’s sold out.

NOT Washable. These left pieces of latex all in my washer and dryer after washing according to the instructions. I contact Targets Guest Relations and all they wanted to offer me was a $30 gift card. This isn't even enough to replace the product. Very disappointed, and also have a giant mess to clean up. If you order these, do not wash them!!

I have had three of these for a two years. We live in the country with kids and a dog that loves the creek (aka mud city). These stay surprisingly clean for the color and have no signs of wear two years in. I just looked it up to see if I could wash it, and thought I should leave a review. Gorgeous, easy to care for. Will probably just leave out in the rain and sun for a day to wash after reading other reviews. These are in my main hallways so quite a bit of traffic and truly nonslip on my stair landing.

I LOVE this rug! It’s my favorite rug in my house. I have the runner size in my kitchen. The grippy back keeps it in place and the flat weave makes it a great carpet for high use areas. SoOo many spills and food land on this thing and it still looks new. The design is intentionally faded, which gives just the right amount of texture/ pattern without it screaming “ I AM A RUG.” Well done, Target!

Seriously obsessed with this runner rug!The nonslip backing is a game changer. We have the rug in our kitchen which is obviously a very high traffic area and the rug literally doesn’t move an inch. The design is gorgeous and I personally feel like the color hides dirt well. It’s easy to vacuum, however when I vacuum I can’t go back and forth in one motion, I have to go down a straight line and then bring the vacuum back to the beginning and do the next area. Not a big deal at all, takes less than 1 minute to vacuum the whole rug. A must buy and for the price you literally cannot beat it!
