The DHC1 boasts a large display, with large numbers that are easy to read, even in lower light settings and features three different audible temperature alerts to let you know that you are approaching, have reached or passed your target temperature. The included heat/splatter guard protects the main body of the thermometer from heat and splattering oil while the vessel clip allows the thermometer to be attached to a pot for hands free use.
