[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, listen up. I’m 32, which means I’m at that magical age where I suddenly care about lumbar support and matching furniture. And let me tell you Chair? She’s that girl. First off, she’s classy. Like, “I sip wine while watching reality TV and pretend it’s a documentary” classy. The brown wood finish is giving grown woman with her life (mostly) together. The nailhead trim? ICONIC. It whispers, “I host book clubs but we only read one chapter and talk about astrology.” Now let’s talk comfort. Sis has padding. The seat is firm, but not too firm—just like I like my boundaries. I can sit in this thing for hours scrolling Zillow for homes I can’t afford or pretending to journal. It cradles my 32-year-old back like it knows I spent my twenties on questionable IKEA chairs. Size-wise, it’s the Goldilocks of chairs. Not too big, not too small. Just right for my dining area, which is also my office, reading nook, and sometimes a dance floor (don’t judge). Assembly? Oh, honey, it was easy. I did it in my pajamas with one hand while eating cereal out of a mug. Empowering. In short: this chair makes me feel like the woman I imagined I’d be at 32—elegant, put-together, and sitting on furniture that doesn’t squeak.

Beautiful chair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dawson dining chair is beautiful and very sturdy. The quality is really good and it is also very comfortable. It was also easy to assemble, it took my husband 20 minutes to put it together.

Beautiful chair, but time consuming to assemble
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I give this chair 4/5 stars, not because of the quality or look of the chair, but because it took me well over an hour to put it together! I’m not amazingly experienced with furniture assembly, but I’ve done it before, and this chair took a lot longer than I expected. And they give you ***exactly*** enough nuts and bolts to do it, so don’t lose them! That being said, once the chair was together it looks very nice! It also feels very sturdy. Our cat seems very attracted to the fabric and desperately wants to scratch it, so we will see how long the chair lasts. If it had come assembled I would have given it a 5/5. This product was sent to me for free in exchange for my review through Influenster. Incentivized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chair is very comfortable and beautiful. It did come with very detailed instructions for assembly. It took me around 30 minutes to put it together. However some of the pieces do not sit very flush with rest of the chair. If you can overlook that flaw, the chair in itself is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful arm chair. It says arm dining chair but I think it's gonna go in my living room. I Need some extra seating sometimes. But I will mostly use it at a table that I use regularly to put my puzzles together. I like that it has the arms to use for resting. It's such a neutral color that I am allowed to use in different areas of my home and it goes with all my decor. I am putting ot together while my husband is out of town but I didn't and wasn't able to tighten all the bolts by myself to be secure to hold someone it's to shakey So I will let him redo it for me. Came with the back and the seat and four legs plus the arm rest pieces of wood. All the bolts and rings were included. Was easy to attach together just need someone stronger than me to make sure the screws are tight enough.

Durable and comfortable
I bought two blue barstools about three years ago and they have held up very well both on the upholstery and frame and are very comfortable. They are used every day by people who weigh between 180 to 240 pounds, so this is not light use. I needed a chair for the little desk in the kitchen and since these had held up so well, I ordered the same thing. Yes, assembly with the little Allen wrenches they send can be a challenge. I always get my battery powered screwdriver with a bit that fits the bolts. The key to assembly is when they tell you to NOT tighten the bolts, don’t tighten them. If you do, the rest of the chair won’t fit together. You put it all together first, then tighten it all last. But it really helps to have two people. The chair took two of us about 15 minutes to assemble. Also, the arm rests on this chair makes the whole seat super comfortable ... if you are not a BIG person. If you are quite heavy around the middle, you will not fit into this chair.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT
Loved the look of this chair. Sat in one at the store and fell in love. Very comfy and stylish! HOWEVER, I purchased 3 online and every one had major assembly issues. alignment is horrible, making the assembly next to impossible! Very disappointed in this product! Will not ever consider purchasing furniture from Target again.
