Looks better than it is! My son opened 6 months after getting (unfortunately). The ad's and packaging look great, the toy not so great! The rocket goes 3inches, the pendulum is tiny, the robot and floating ball are horrible! Overall waste of money/a gift!

Most items were broken or did not function. The Rocket only works if you pulse the voltage over and over. The floating ball does not float like it shows even if you give the little motor 6 volts instead of 3. The spinning robot is shown rapidly spinning in the materials, in reality, barley spins at all. Lastly, the infinity mirror came with a broken wire, I repaired it. Guess what thought. It doesn't do the infinity mirror function at all. It blinks in a rotating pattern while alternating the front and back lights, which is NOT how an infinity mirror works at all, so it doesn't even perform the function it's meant to. Plus the LEDs are red, when they are more blue in the photos. My son was really disappointed, and so was I to say the least. So far all of the Discovery Mindblown series have done nothing but disappoint.

Rocket launcher needed disassembled and added the correct amount of screws, then it worked. Button to launch rocket needed re soldered wires, one fell off, cold solder and not pushed through circuit board. Quality Control, QA lacking. Pick a different toy, this one has issues.

This was a disappointing set. We have other circuit sets that have been a lot of fun. This was a Christmas gift that looked a bit flashier than the others so I wanted to give it a try. Only a few of the 'circuit' path actually work. The fan to hold the ball in the air doesn't work. The 'launcher' for the metal ball doesn't work. The spinning robot is also very anticlimatic. It was disappointing because my son was excited to try this one out. For the money you could easily get a better circuit activity.

Disappointing! The concept and activities are great especially for first time circuit builders but many of the components—the rocket and blower—didn’t work upon being opened. Overall, not worth the money. There are better sets.

This was horrible. Rocket, blower, ball launcher... all broken when box opened. All the experiments are fundamentally a single circuit. There's no learning here after the first light up buzzer. They can do better than this, truly. Returning....

Great kit, however a tiny styrofoam ball was included instead of the plastic ball shown on the item description. Seems like the kit was returned incomplete and something was thrown in to replace the missing piece.

You need 8 AA batteries on top of this purchase. It's fun for about 5 minutes and that's it, the magic is over. Do not buy this, there are far better educational/fun circuit activities out there for you and your kids.
