Q: How long does the plaster take to harden before painting?

  • A: Followed the instructions exactly and measured the water accurately. The plaster mixture became lumpy and unusable in less than 5 minutes, before it could even be poured into the mold. Very disappointing quality and a waste of money.

  • A: No issues with my item. I mixed, poured into form and within 45 mins it is harden but suggest to let it sit overnight to harden completely.

Fun activity.

My kids loved this and I wish they had it another characters. We mixed the plaster in a plastic bag so that we could mix quickly and then dump into the mold.

cool idea but needs regular plaster

did not know it was quick set plaster nothing on the box says it is. I worked with plaster of paris for the whole month of March mine never dried fast so I kept adding water to this one then wasn't able to pour into mold had to push in with fingers... if it doesn't work I'll just use the plaster I have at home that doesn't get hot!

Set too fast

The plaster set so quickly that it became a solid lump before I could finish pouring it. Either the instructions are incomplete or the plaster was old. Completely unusable.
