Q: I've now owned this bottle for approx a year now. Daily use. What is the size of the pump? I would love to try different pumps styles on this gorgeous and easy-to-clean bottle.
A: The size that would match is 38/400 or for a gallon jug. The issue is that all of the offerings are plastic and don't match the nice aesthetic of the glass. I am having to recycle it and will not be buying another. Unfortunate. I will not be buying glass dispensers that are of this size going forward.
submitted byIlovetarget - 5 months agoA: Hi Artspeaker - Thanks for reaching out about this beautiful set of dispensers. The dimensions of the pump are 8.2 inches H x 3 inches W x 3 inches D. I hope this information helps. - Mark
submitted byMark - 4 years agoTarget staff supportA: any luck on finding a new pump? I came across the same issue with the pump.
submitted byLaadeedaa - 2 years agoA: Contrary to the above post, what you need is the pump size, the opening of the glass part is 1.25 inches or 31 mm. That is the width of the pump dispenser opening you need. I have searched for replacements for a long time without any luck. Good luck to you, I hope you find some replacements and can share with us who are still searching for those replacements.

Q: I just bought one of these in store for my dish soap and hand soap in the kitchen (no dishwasher), but what is the trick to get them to pump? Nothing is coming out no matter what way I turn or fidget with them!
A: Hello Ashley! Thanks for your question! The set features chrome push-pump dispensers to dispense your soap or lotion. Please be sure that the tube that submerges into the product is connected to the screw top. Once you have tightened the top onto the bottle, push down on the stem to dispense your product. If you are unable to dispense your products after checking the connection there may be a defect. In this case, please return the dispenser for a replacement. I hope this helps! - Jackie
submitted byJackie - 3 years agoTarget staff supportA: Hey! I just bought these today and was having trouble getting my Palmolive dish soap to come out. It was making it up the tube, but not out of the top of the dispenser. I ended up submerging the opening at the top where the soap comes out into water and pushing the pump a bunch of times. After putting it back in the soap, it started to dispense!
submitted byWomenBeShopping - 3 years agoA: Do the following: • Unscrew the top • Push down on the dispenser knob • With the knob down, put your finger on the end of the dispenser (where the liquid comes out). • Release the knob • Screw the top

Q: Hi, would this be able to pump out lotion?
A: Hi aalax - Store any of your bath products in style with the Clear Double Soap Pump Oil Can from Threshold! You can fill this pump with your favorite soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and other bath products. Thanks for dropping in! - Vanessa
submitted byVanessa - 5 years agoTarget staff supportA: I tried putting lotion inside and it worked great until I got towards the end of the bottle. It was hard to get the lotion out at the very end, so I took off the cap and poured it in my hand. It works better with soap. You can get pretty much all of the soap out.
submitted byPurdueStar - 3 years agoA: I've used lotion for years. Simply always keep the bottle more than 1/3 full and you'll never have issues with a void occuring where the straw sucks up lotion (as it isn't as 'watery' as soap).

Q: Is the pump metal or chrome plated plasti
A: Hello - That's a great question! These pump oil cans have a metal top. Happy decorating! - Jaimee
submitted byJaimee - 3 years agoTarget staff supportA: Not a metal pump. Plastic with non-durable chrome-colored paint, like a model airplane or toy.

Q: Does it pump all of the soap out or do you have to refill before the bottle is empty?
A: Hi Sarah - Thanks for browsing our Threshold™ collection! The pump tube doesn't quite touch the bottom of the jar so you may need to refill it before it is empty. We're glad you stopped by! - Gao
submitted byGao - 5 years agoTarget staff supportA: While it doesn't get every-last-drop, the straw gets most of the soap before it doesn't reach what's left.

Q: Is the dispenser top metal or plastic?
A: Hello Chosn4one- Great question! These matching soap dispensers have a glass jar with a metal top. Thanks for shopping. -Kayla
submitted byKayla - 7 years agoTarget staff supportA: The staff's answer is only partly true. The top cap-part is actually a combination of chrome-plated plastic (which is very durable) and metal (the spout and pushy thingy).

Q: Can these also be used to dispense lotion?
A: I think lotion would be too thick and would clog up the pumping mechanism.
submitted bySassafras - 7 years agoA: Yes, it dispenses lotion just fine. Been using these for soap and lotion for 20+ years (Have to replace 'em every 5-7 years). Keep it more than 1/3 full, otherwise a void will form near the straw).

Q: Do you think one could be used for mouthwash?
A: yes but just make sure sure hold the cup close to the dispenser. Velocity depends on how hard you push the pump.
submitted byLuvTarget - 7 years agoA: Yes, it could be used for mouth wash.
