I usually rinse with vinegar or pure citric acid, but for my delicates I love this rinse and refresh product! It really helps remove the extra detergent and leaves my clothes feeling much softer. Fun fact: your clothes don’t need softener, they are usually stiff from built up detergent! I just wish they had bigger bottles!

I’ve always washed with a vinegar rinse but compared to this stuff the vinegar is no match. I had high hopes for Downy Rinse & Refresh Clear and Gentle, but it didn’t make much of a difference. Odors were still there, and my clothes didn’t feel any fresher or softer than usual. Not worth the price in my opinion. Just because it didn’t work for me might work for you, but I ended up returning it.

Leaves odd odor
Not fragrance free . Left an odd unpleasant smell in my towels. They smelled fine before washing and using this product. Wanted something with no smell to help remove hard water residue. Used as directed but the spout is ridiculous. Will have to rewash towels and hope they will smell better.
