We understand scent is very subjective, and we appreciate you providing us with this feedback, but this is definitely not the type of experience we want you to go through. All our laundry detergents effectively clean by penetrating fabrics to loosen and suspend dirt in water, preventing redepositing. Powders are best for outdoor or clay stains, while liquids or single-dose units work well on greasy or oily stains. For optimal results, follow fabric care labels, use the hottest safe water, sort clothes by color and fabric type, pre-treat stains, avoid overloading the washer, and use the correct detergent amount based on load size, soil level, and water hardness. Gentle cycles should only be used when recommended. Tough or dried-in stains, such as blood or grease on cotton, are harder to remove because they become dehydrated, less soluble, or set by heat and air exposure. Heavily soiled loads diminish cleaning effectiveness, so longer cycles and the highest safe temperatures are advised. Some stains may remain permanent despite best efforts. To remove odors, rewash clothes in the hottest safe water with the right detergent and fabric softener, using bleach if safe. Regularly clean your washing machine to prevent buildup. Prevent odors by promptly removing clothes after washing, airing out the washer door, avoiding overloads, using proper detergent amounts, and drying clothes completely before storing. My Go-To Detergent for Tough Odors
This has become my go-to laundry detergent and is one of the few products that consistently removes tough odors from our laundry. It does a great job getting the smell out of work clothes, especially heavily worn socks after long days on the job. The best!
This cleans so well. It is unscented which I appreciate. My clothes get so clean. It get out the toughest stains and it gets rid of those stinky boy odors that I was ready to give up on. Completely eliminated nasty gym odors from teen ages that wouldn’t go away. Love this stuff!

Perfect for baby's clothes
Excellent laundry detergent for the baby clothes. No scent and gentle with no harsh chemicals that would irritate the baby's delicate skin. DANGEROUS NEW INGREDIENTS!
Beware of new “TIDE ODOR REFRESH”. Dangerous new ingredients! For months we have been so perplexed as to why my lips were swelling up like someone punched me in the face, hives, and weird reactions I was having all of the sudden. I thought it was something I was eating and it was the biggest mystery and nightmare. However, nothing made sense with no rhyme or reason to what was triggering this. I have known for years I'm allergic to aspirin and cinnamon, and so, I have avoided these for years with no problems...and now, it's all happening again! I literally recorded hours and hours of notes on my phone trying to figure it out what was causing this. So, to make a very long story short, my wife eventually said, may be its the new detergent we started getting months ago. Well, I decided to rewash all my clothes, bedding, towels, everything, in different detergent...and stopped immediately! Amazingly, everything stopped and I am fine again. We later confirmed it was the new Tide, and through time, we were able to confirm the ingredient as METHYL DI-T- BUTYL HYDROXYHYDROCINNAMATE. A man-made simulation for smell that is similar to cinnamon (CINNAMATE), and because this can be considered as "free from perfumes" companies are beginning to use this dangerous manmade - lab made - altered CINNAMATE as a type of fragrance, and for odors. I am so thankful we were blessed to finally figured it out. We had just bought 3 more large containers of this from Target, of which, now sit in our basement. Be aware of this new laundry detergent, especially, if you are have any swelling, hives, or weird skin conditions that mysteriously begin. For months and months this was so frustrating and caused so many problems...but thankfully, we were blessed to finally figure it out.
