Downy Ocean Mist Rinse Liquid Laundry Additive - 62 fl oz

A: Thank you for your excellent question regarding the difference between Downy Rinse Out Odor Ocean Mist and Downy Rinse & Refresh Ocean Mist. These are essentially the same product. As of July 2025, the product formerly known as Downy Rinse & Refresh has been renamed to Downy Rinse Out Odor Ocean Mist. Both offer a deep cleansing fabric rinse with 3X more odor removal power, boosting laundry detergent to remove stubborn odors and residues. They provide softer, brighter fabrics by rinsing away residues rather than depositing them, and feature the same light, crisp Ocean Mist scent. You'll notice updated packaging with a new flip-top cap, but the formula and benefits remain consistent between the two names. It should not be used alongside fabric softener in the same load.

A: Rinse and Refresh can be used in High Efficiency (HE) machines.

A: It depends on the load size and how powerful the odors are. If it's a weaker odor, you don't need to add a lot.

A: That's a great question. apart from the dispenser, it can be added in the center post agitator for traditional top-loading machines, or it can be added directly to the drum during the rinse cycle.
