Downy Unstopables are one of the few products that not only help in the laundry room but also give a noticeable boost to freshness throughout the week. We use them in nearly every load: clothes, towels, sheets — you name it. The fresh scent is clean and invigorating without being overpowering, and it lasts significantly longer than regular scented detergents or softeners alone. Each of my kids notices when we run out because their laundry just doesn’t “smell right” without it. Even the boys who typically don’t care about that kind of thing will ask if I can get more. It’s especially helpful for gym clothes and bedding that tend to develop lingering odors. I’ve even thrown a few beads in sachets for dresser drawers and backpacks. The price point is a bit high, and the bottle doesn’t last long with a family this size unless you ration carefully. I’ve been using Downy Unstopables for about 8 months now, and overall, I really enjoy the results—though there are a couple of things to watch out for. What I love: The smell is incredible. I use the "Fresh" scent, and it gives my laundry this clean, slightly perfumed aroma that lasts for weeks. I notice it most in towels and bedsheets—even after they’ve been sitting in the closet for a while, they still smell great. It’s also easy to use: I just toss a small amount (maybe half a capful) directly into the washer drum before adding clothes. What I don’t love: If I accidentally use too much, the scent can become a bit overpowering, especially on clothes I wear close to my skin.

My favourite unstoppables scent! The best scent and lasts for weeks. Keeps my laundry fresh. So so easy to use and can vary amount based on wash. I like to double up sometimes. A small amount goes a long way I find.

I've tried many kids of scent beads and these are my favorite. Not only is the smell amazing but it also lasts so long. I've had sheets up in my closet for months and I just pulled them out and they smelt like they'd just been washed!!
