Description
Dr. Bronner's Lavender Organic Sugar Soap – Soothing and calming! Sweet to the body and planet! Fair trade & organic sugar gives our Organic Sugar Soaps a rich caramel color and sweet scent. The sugar combines with organic white grape juice to keep your skin nourished, hydrated and smooth. Organic coconut-olive-hemp oils blend for a creamy castile lather & our soapmaking tradition! Organic hemp oil is now sourced in the U.S. following hemp legalization! 4-in-1 Organic Sugar Soaps are good for washing hands, face, body & hair & place by your sink or in the shower! To wash hair work one pump of Organic Sugar Soap into wet hair until it lathers, then rub and rinse. Repeat for thicker or longer hair. After washing, follow up with a lightly acidic conditioning rinse, like Dr. Bronner's Citrus Organic Hair Rinse to leave hair silky smooth! Don't have our Organic Hair Rinse? This soap used to be called Shikakai. I used to carry it in my store and have always loved it for texture, foam, and essential oil blends. I like it better than shampoo for washing my hair!
Our new shampoo in support of Palestine 🇵🇸

I ordered a bunch of Dr. Bronner’s stuff due to their human rights advocacy in Palestine. My husband has curly hair and has long refused a proper curly hair regimen. I convinced him to try Dr. Bronner’s 4-in-1 soup since I didn’t want him to worry about dilution and also have a shampoo feel to the soap. He loves it, especially due to the Peppermint that makes him feel fresh after a hot sweaty day (we live in humid New England). And…his hair isn’t dry and his curls are still pronounced. I’m sure if he uses the vinegar rinse his hair would be shinier but I will keep what I can get from someone who is zero maintenance!

I really wanted to like this sugar soap because I love Dr. Bronner's other soaps. However, this soap leaves my hands feeling sticky and like there is a residue.
A Blessing for Sensitive Scalp

I have been struggling with a super sensitive and inflamed scalp since having kids 5 years ago. For whatever reason, this seems to be the only shampoo I’ve tried that leaves my scalp feeling nice and calm. Along with the Dr. Bronners acidic rinse, it also leaves my hair pretty soft and manageable. The only “downside” is that I do periodically require a separate conditioner, maybe once a week or so. However, I have quite dry curly hair, so this may just be due to my hair type. Overall a great product from a great company!

Works great as soap and body wash but terrible for thick hair. My hair felt like straw.

This is the best in your bathroom and shower. So much more moisturizing than the Castile and leaves your skin feeling great. The fragrances are so good too!

I have glass soap dispensers around my house and just refill with this for all hand soap. I always get many compliments from guests on smell and feel.
