A: Thank you for your inquiry. Per our bottle instructions to prevent leaking, this is what we recommend: *Avoid formula bubbles: Do not shake the bottle. Formula should be stirred gently to fully dissolve lumps – as lumps can clog nipple/teat holes. Fill to the desired amount. To prevent potential leaks, do not fill the bottle above the FILL LINE WARNING *For proper bottle and venting function, only use Dr. Brown’s® nipples/teats with this bottle; other brands may leak or flow too fast or too slow. *When feeding your baby, hold the bottle so that the reservoir tube hole in the bottom of the bottle is not covered by liquid (approximately at a 45° angle). Keep your baby propped up rather than lying down during feeding. *When transporting bottles, always keep them upright and use travel cap or disk to help prevent leaking. During air travel, please remove internal parts and secure with travel cap or disk to prevent leaking from air pressure.

Made my baby inconsolably gassy
After we started using these bottles my baby became inconsolably gassy, wouldn’t burp, constantly fussy, and stopped sleeping through the night. We’ve never had this problem with any other bottle we’ve used. We trouble-shooted a bit and still the same result. I find this really odd since they’re supposed to help with colic but feel like they made my babe colic. Unfortunate and upsetting

Dr browns bottles are horrible. Would not repurchase
I heard great things about these bottles so I got them on my registry. Now that my baby is here, these are the most frustrating bottles I've seen. They leak constantly, can't be too loose or too tight and I'm not sure the anti colic insert does anything! My baby will suck and suck from the nipple and not get any formula!! Poor guy is crying and frustrated and so are we as parents. Would not repurchase!

My daughter is 1 month and 16 days old. Every day she cries desperately when she breastfeeds and when she uses a bottle. She has a tongue tie and reflux. I didn't know what to do anymore. The bigger bottles seem fine but the small ones keep leaking. The first one I didn’t think much of it, and just thought it was defective, but now two more of them are leaking. It’s extremely annoying and bothersome bc milk gets all over the baby and yourself. Also assuming this is all Dr. Browns small bottles bc I’ve have 3 different packs now and the little bottles keep doing it.

We made the mistake of trying to use the same bottles for baby #2 that we did for baby #1 and she wouldn’t take them. We switched to these and she never had any issues. My only complaint is cleaning the little parts, but the tiny brush is really helpful. It’s nice that this pack has things for different stages, too.

Leaks no matter what
I'm ready to send Dr. Browns an invoice for all my damaged furniture and upholstery. The bottles stayed leaking a lot. We read on their website that it's because of pressure differences and that going up a nipple would fix it. So we went from stage 1 to stage 2 nipples on all our bottles and our not-even-3-month-old was still getting milk all over herself. I think it's more of a bottle design flaw. Honestly, I want my money back so I can buy a different brand. And don't forget that I have damaged furniture and upholstery that I want to be compensated for.

Dont buy! They are the worst!
These are the worst bottles ever! Not because of the many pieces it brings that you have to wash; but because they leak so much every single time I’m feeding the baby he ends up drenched in milk also because the flow is way too fast for a newborn! My son sounds like he’s getting drowned in milk when drinking from these bottles! Just want to note I’m using the size 1 nipples which is supposed to be slow flow! Wish I would have known.

Leaks all over her Mattress!
These bottles leak all over the place! I bottle feed at night and I woke up in the middle of the night to find out my babies blanket, mattress and clothes are soaking wet!! I bought it to prevent colic and liked the idea of glass bottles but this is totally unacceptable!!!
