Wow! I this is the first time that I gave used Drano Max Gel Clog Removal! On a few occasions I have used my plumber to unclog my sinks. ( I used Liquid Plumber a few years ago—and it did not work.) (That is why I was reluctant to purchase the Drano.) I will be using Drano in the future as a preventive to clogs in my sinks. By the way Targets price for Drano is an excellent deal. This saved me from using a plumber.

My sink drain was slightly clogged. It slowly drained. I poured almost the whole bottle into the drain (1/5 of the bottle at a time as per instructions) but it didn’t seem to do anything. I even let it sit overnight, but my sink drain still drains slowly.

I followed instructions using half the bottle waited 40 minutes, poured hot water, no movement still standing water. Poured the remaining product down waited another 40 minutes poured got water again still nothing. Went to sleep, woke up, still standing water. What a waste of money.

New kitchen drain installed 2 years ago. Drain started to slowly drain and eventually stopped flowing at all. Purchased Max Gel based on recommendation but it's not working. I could be a little more understanding if the pipes were 20 years old with years of build-up but this drain is fairly new

I've always known "if you have a clog, try drano!" I'm renting and my landlord isn't the best at getting things done fast. With only 1 shower and the drain currently not draining at all, I thought I should give it a try. After the first 1/2 of the bottle, let it sit for 30 mins, and flushing with hot water, nothing - just more water in the tub. So I tried again, letting it sit for an hour this time and nothing. So now what?

I followed instructions to pour 1/2 bottle in, wait 15-30 minutes. I set timer for 30 minutes. Turned hot water on, nothing. I waited several hours. Before going to bed, poured the rest down. Got up In morning water still in sink. I had a scheduled a maintenance to come unstop, they came and unstopped sink. I bought because it was guaranteed to work. Using a whole bottle didn't work.

I used half the bottle and even waited 30mins and poured HOT water down the drain…didn't work. I REPEATED the steps with the second (and last) half of the bottle and again it did not work. A waste of time and money is what this was.

I bought this product to unclog my tub drain. I follow the instructions and it did not work. I even waited hours and tried again the next morning and still clogged. I don't think this product can back up what it's putting down…it's a shame it was a waste. I had high hopes for it.

I had a very slow drain in my kitchen sink for months. Finally, I went out and bought the 2.5 quart-sized Drano Max Gel product you guarantee will work (UPC on bottle is - 19800 40109). I followed directions on the bottle to the letter, but there was no improvement in clearing drain. I repeated steps as indicated on bottle and in fact, ended up using the entire bottle in the increments suggested on bottle - to no avail. Clog still remained. I did nothing else for a day to give it time to work. Finally, I plunged the drain for quite some time and the drain did clear.
