The bed had such a strong paint smell that I felt nauseous after assembling it, for a product that claim to be greenguard gold and JPMA certified on the box, I don't think this is acceptable. If an adult can get nauseous after being near the bed for a few minutes, what would it do to a toddler sleeping in it?

We purchased this toddler bed for our 2-year-old, and it's been a fantastic transition from the crib. The bed is sturdy and the height is perfect for little ones to get in and out easily. The side rails provide added security, which is a huge relief for us. Our toddler loves the bed and has been sleeping much better since the switch. bed is cute and generally ideal for a 2 or 3 year old. it is a bit hard to put together; wish manufacturers would have an outsider use the instructions to see how difficult assembly can be. For us the bed was delivered 2 days late which was a huge inconvenience and required us having to get an alternative for 2 nights use. give extra time than that provided by target on website.

Very poor quality. Is missing multiple screws for set up. I thought the conversation pieces that changed it to a bench were going to be included. Very difficult to assemble what felt like a million pieces. Not sturdy. My 2 year old will probably not use this for more than a year. Waste of money. Very disappointed

So cheaply made. Not sure if it was a return because there were already dowels in some of the holes. Lots of chipped pieces and nicks in paint straight out of the box. It also came in no short of one million pieces. Not a single thing preassembled. Was a real letdown because the design is so cute.

Pros: Overall the bed looks great and is as pictured and my daughter loved it and could easily crawl in and out. Comes with several pieces and you only need the included Allen wrench to assemble it just takes awhile. Cons: The quality is not very good, I split the wood on two pieces by hand tightening the screws and I was not being that aggressive and I’m not even the strongest woman so you have to be careful when tightening everything. Also the very last step where you screw the center piece into the end pieces I was not able to fully screw in one of the screws after several attempts. I think it is stable enough for my almost 2 year old to use for now but don’t know how well it would hold up long term, I will definitely check on it regularly to make sure it’s not coming apart. And FYI the top part that is supposed to turn the center piece into a table later is not included so you really only have the two benches when you take it apart after your kid outgrows it.

This mini version of a bed is perfect to transition a toddler who still likes a crib but has grown out of it or can climb out. Seems sturdy but we've only had it one night so far. Assembly was pretty simple for my husband. As with all baby and toddler furniture, a lot of screws and an Allan key. Fits a crib mattress perfectly. Our 2 year old slept great the first night.
