As a mom, I'm always worried about what products to use for my baby, and this detergent has given me so much peace of mind. What I love most is that it's super gentle on her delicate skin and doesn't cause any allergies or irritations. It's hypoallergenic and free of chlorine, dyes, and phosphates, which is essential for me. I've noticed that it leaves my baby's clothes incredibly soft and with a very nice, long-lasting scent. Also, even though it's very gentle, it gets rid of stains without any problems!

The best gentle detergent for my baby's sensitive
Dreft Stage 1 has been perfect for my newborns delicate skin. It leave clothes, blankets, and towels incredibly soft and free of annoying residues. I love its subtle, classic baby scent that is wonderful but no too strong. The liquid format makes application very easy with the built-in measuring cap, so l can use just the right amount . As a hypoallergenic product that’s often recommended by pediatricians, it gives me great peace mind. Highly recommended for new parent. The packaging is sturdy and easy to pour. Is definitely at great valor.

Smells like heaven
I have used this detergent for both of my babies and it smells SO good! It helps clean their clothes very well, and we haven’t had any issues with their skin which is a huge plus since they both have very sensitive skin! I always use this, and wash their clothes on delicate, and they come out clean and looking good as new! There’s quite like snuggling your baby, especially when they smell this good!

Loaded with chemicals, do your homework
I bought this to ease a new detergent allergen. This product did not help. After a little research, it is easy to see why. Dreft is loaded with chemicals—many of which are not safe at all. ALLERGIC While my newfound allergic reaction to A&H got a better using Purex Free, I wanted to try to add in a little fragrance again. Dreft brought the allergies back. I realize this is my own body, but when I reviewed the ingredient lists, I was astounded to see Dreft for Newborns had MORE chemicals than A&H Simple Clean. CHEMICALS I was switching from Arm and Hammer Simple Clean, which still has fragrance but LESS chemicals in the ingredient list than Dreft for Newborns. Check out the ingredient list and do your own homework. Remember: just because something is plant-based doesn't mean it is healthy or not toxic. SMELL The smell is also... nauseating? I don't get what people love about that. It honestly reminded me of regurgitation, which might be from my own memories or something. PRICE The price is wild... considering the only real difference between regular Dreft (and most detergents) and the Newborn version is that the first ingredient is water. You are literally paying more for a more diluted product. For these reasons, I would never use this detergent on my own body... let alone that of a newborn.

Smells Horible
Dreft changed their newborn formula in 2019/2020 and it has a strong perfume odor. Why would they change it to contain something can irritate a newborn is beyond me. I washed new clothes, sheets and blankets only to discover everything smells so strong. Now I am in the process of rewashing EVERYTHING with soap and baking soda 3 weeks before my due date. Very disappointed.

Beware of product fragrance
Terrible fragrance. It smells almost like urine. It was overpowering and irritating. The fragrance-free Dreft is great - this is not. Would avoid.

Incredible Clean!
We used Dreft for both my boys. I absolutely love the smell. It has incredible stain fighting power as it was able to keep the clothes and burp rags free of little spit up stains.
