    Safe for clothes

This product is a life saver for new parents who are concerned about chemicals in traditional detergents. This product has no scent, removes all stains, and is gentle on fabrics.

This is a great kids detergent for all kids as well as those with sensitive skin and Ihoghly recommended it for any parent.

I have been using this brand detergent for my daughter since she was a newborn. I love how it goes up in stages as your child grows, depending on their skin sensitivity and types of messes they make. It has a slight scent that I love and even want to use on my cloths! It is made to be gentle on sensitive skin and hypoallergenic with no added Chlorine, dyes, or phosphates. It has been great for my daughter and I recommend it for any parent.

Not good at removing stains, overpriced but gentle for sensitive skin

I bought this for my daughter who had a bad reaction to the laundry detergent I recently bought. This is gentle and did not irritate her skin, but I didn’t find that it removed stains well, even with pre-treatment and the scent was not what I expected. It used to smell like baby powder. This smells more Tide adjacent. For the price, I expected much more from this detergent.

We thank you for sharing your experience. Dreft Active Baby is designed to be gentle on skin for babies and tough on stains, but the formula was upgraded recently to improve stain removal and product clarity. The scent is a light floral and fruity fragrance, which is different from the traditional baby powder smell that might be remembered. Our products undergo rigorous quality checks, and your feedback is important to our Quality Assurance Team. We would love to hear more about your experience and assist you further, so please call us at (800) 436-3241.

A gentle yet powerful detergent that keeps my kids’ clothes fresh, clean, and safe for sensitive skin.

As a mom of two boys with sensitive skin, finding a detergent that actually cleans well without causing irritation is super important for me. I use this for both Romano, who is 1 year old, and Liam, who is 5, and honestly it has been phenomenal for our family. The formula is concentrated, so a little goes a long way, which makes it feel very efficient and worth the value. I also love the light scent. It smells fresh and clean without being overpowering, which is something I really appreciate for baby and kids’ clothes. The foam level is just right, giving clothes a deep clean while still feeling gentle on fabrics and skin. It removes stains really well, even those everyday kid messes, and the packaging with the handle makes it easy to carry and use during laundry days. What I appreciate most is that despite my kids having allergies and delicate skin, this detergent has worked beautifully without causing reactions. Definitely one of those products I truly trust and would continue recommending to other moms.

    Good for sensitive skin

Has a nice light scent and doesn't irritate the sensitive skin of my kids. They have eczema. I will say that I can't really tell what makes this solution different from the newborn one...maybe it works harder to break down stains or something.

    Bad experience

I have no luck with Target for these items when they do not arrive open and missing the product they vote on the way I do not understand why the container arrived open and was missing 1/3 of its amount despite it was not corresponding.

    From Dreft team
We're really sorry to hear you had this experience with our Dreft Original Toddler HE Liquid Laundry Detergent, Hilda. It must upsetting that the bottle came in underfilled. We appreciate you providing us with this feedback, but this is definitely not the type of experience we want you to go through. We have strict quality controls and it’s unusual for a package to leave our plant with less than the proper amount of product in it. A lot of research goes into our bottle design and we strive to get the best quality for our consumers. We know that at times, there can be some occasional damage to our bottles during shipping. Our bottles are designed to withstand a certain amount of wear and tear. Even so, plastic packaging may become damaged or break if it's dropped, especially if it lands on a seam or corner. We’ll make sure we share what’s happening so that we can continue to improve our designs. Please feel free to contact us at (800) 436-2229 so we can learn more about this situation and take care of you. Your satisfaction is highly important for us at Dreft.
