My husband works in the heat and his clothes get super dirty, I have tried so many laundry detergents and nothing got them clean until now! Dropp really works! It more than exceeded my expectations. Firstly, the smell is very clean and fresh, not fake of overpowering, not a cover up. Finally a honest great product, please never change!!! I used 2 pods on a regular size load in cold water. AND because I cannot stand paid/influencer reviews; for the record I'm just a housewife who was looking for something that worked.

Great clean, can’t stand the new fragrance! Now that there is only one option for fragrance, I’m looking at other “green” detergent options. I’ve been a Dropps customer for many years. We used to use a clean linen fragrance that smelled crisp and clean. Now the only choice is crisp breeze and it’s far more fragrant with a sickening sweet after smell. Very bummed about this change. Additionally, the packaging has changed and also seems less environmentally friendly. I wonder if the company was bought out?

This scent is so strong that I can smell it all over my house. My husband cannot smell anything and he is complaining about the odor of the bed sheets and towels. I usually order unscented and I am not sure why I changed, but I will have to throw away this entire box.

I purchased Dropps because I was looking for a clean alternative to traditional laundry soap. The FAQs of the Dropps site said the scent was strong in packaging but would be mild in the was. It was overwhelmingly strong on our clothes! I should have checked the ingredients more closely before purchasing. The 5th ingredient is “fragrance”, which can be any number of chemicals that could disrupt hormones, be irritating or cause allergies. Disappointing for a clean brand.

I originally purchased Dropps because they are non toxic and had very mild scents. Since the new formula, the new scents are so strong it’s unbearable for someone who avoids VOCs and artificial fragrance.

The old formula was incredible. The new formula is too fragranced, gives me a headache and no longer seems to fill the "sensitive skin" niche that the original formula filled. I have recommended it to many friends over the years but am very disappointed with the new product and the lack of a warning. The scents aren't even close to the same as they used to be.
Looks clean but doesn't smell clean to me.

I purchased the orange blossom scent. The clothes appear clean by all standards. Very pleased with that. I have a very powerful sense of smell. The clothes do not smell clean to me. It's more of a sour or mildew. I'm going to try the activeware product and see if that helps. Maybe I just picked the wrong fragrance. Maybe it's just these HE washers.

Ive been buying drops for years and it always has been one drop for a large or xl load and one of the half size drops for smaller. They actually used to say in the directions not to use more as too much can cause build up on tye clothes. Now the box says it takes 3 drops for a xl load. I notice they arent as powerful with less drops too. I wont be buying again as the price didn't drop but its effectiveness did. This will be my last order from drops.

I’ve been searching for a lower/non toxic alternative to tide pods without sacrificing the clean that tide provides. I also needed pod form because it’s so much easier for my husband to do laundry (iykyk). I remembered hearing about these so decided to give them a try. I’ve used them for several loads of laundry so far and am pleased! They clean just as good and I can feel better about using them. The scent is clean and fresh, though not as lingering as the tide scent. This is fine with me though. I’m looking forward to trying the fabric softener for some scent boosting.

Like many recent reviewers, I’ve been using Dropps for years and have always been happy with them, but find the new scent to be unacceptable. I am very sensitive to perfumes and the previous formula was gentle enough that I never had a problem with it. It’s not just that it smells different, it’s that the new formula is so heavily perfumed that it irritates my system. There is a load in my dryer as I write this and my nose is stinging in a way that I am sure that other people with perfume sensitivities understand. I still would have gotten a new shipment if I had been told that it was “new & improved,” but I wasn’t told and would never have expected a company that I started purchasing from because of their environmental impact to start making a product that smells like the commercial brands. I also use their dishwasher pods and have gotten a new shipment of those in the new absurd boxes, but haven’t noticed a change in those. I will, however, stop using them as well as I will be moving on to a new company. The new laundry detergent is so awful and artificial that they have lost a customer.
