I liked the simple look to these, but this rod will only look right if you are not using the middle bracket- it's not best for a super wide window like ours (90+). The middle hook that holds the rod juts out too far, so the rod is bowed out in the middle to meet the hook, looks very odd. I also agr...see moreof the reviewer's review

Perfect! My son's window is huge and this worked well with his blackout curtains. He has a shelf above his window that I just put this upside down and mounted to the bottom of the shelf and it works great!
