We bought a Dyson heater years ago and were so happy with its performance we got another. It’s our main form of heating and cooling in summer. Only thing I wish it was 12 hour cut off instead of 9. Other wise could not be happier.

Purchased a year ago. Used in the back rooms of the house away from the heatpump. This has no only given us the same feels as the heatpump, but it has reduced our powerbill. We replaced an oil heater with the Dyson and noticed a much smaller bill. This year we have bought a second one to replace another oil heater, together the house stays at 18-22 degrees while outdoors is 1 - 6 degrees in the South island. Paradise at home... I love the product and it's worth every penny. Healthy asthmatics at home with no complaints.

My cheap space heaters have lasted me for upwards of a decade but my Dyson AM09 received an H2 error code and no longer functions. Based on what ive read, Dyson won't actually help with the issue. Save yourself the trouble, get something better.

I bought this fan Oct 2021. It completely died Oct 2022. Although it has a great warranty and I've generally been happy with the fan, I'm extremely frustrated to be waiting 2 months for a replacement -- of course, it's winter and I specifically bought the fan for the colder areas of my home.

Bought this product and broke within a few weeks. Had to send back twice for repairs and still didn't work. Had to be replaced but now out of stock. Still waiting, wouldn't recommend this product at all.

I have had this product for two years. The hot mode works very efficiently putting out hot air to increase the temperature in the room and therefore make it hotter. However the cool mode does not put out cool air to reduce the temperature in the room. The cool mode simply circulates hot air. If the use of the words “Hot” and “Cool” are used to describe the unit itself it implies the two modes act oppositely. One mode to put out hot air and the other to put out cool air. That is not the case at all.

Hi there, This is Elizabeth with Dyson. Our air multiplier line, unlike an AC unit that is designed to chill the air, consists of blade-less fans. The air temperature does not change, it is the air flow which cools the user. Each of the machines have the option of increasing the speed of the air expelled from the machine, which is adjusted with the remote control. This unit can be used in conjunction with an air conditioner to circulate cold air further and faster saving you money and energy. Been using 2 hot/cool fans for about 15 months now and like the fan very much. I hate the cutsie-poo magnetic remote that is always getting knocked off the fan. Old style mechanical attachment would have been much more practical.

I received my new Dyson Hot + Cool fan this morning. I was expecting a fan which would heat as needed to keep the room at the desired temperature. Instead, it's effectively two completely separate devices, a fan and a heater, in the one unit. That is, if set on heat, it will automatically switch off once the desired temperature is reached and does not continue on in fan mode. Instead, one has to manually switch to fan mode using the remote. This means it's useless for keeping a pleasant air flow at the desired temperature. I choose Dyson at its premium price instead of a cheaper alternative expecting a superior product. Maybe that's why it's called Hot + Cool instead of Hot *and* Cool ? Very disappointing.

I’ve had my AM09 for over 4 years & it still does an amazing job of heating even a medium to large room in winter. During the summer the fan is good for personal use eg. placed close to & directly facing a user. But it’s never going to cool a whole room down. As long as you don’t have higher expectations with the cooling function ... remember it’s just a fan not an air conditioner... it’s still a great multi use fan for all seasons. And it’s light and portable enough to easily move from room to room.

I bought my Dyson heat/cool fan two months ago and first impressions were great. It would heat a room quite well and added a nice aesthetic to the room. But after 2 months already it is making high pitched noises and even gives off a buzzing sound when switched off. In general, the fan is not any quieter than another fan would be. Setting the fan set to 1 speed at night is still noticeable but the sleep timer is useful. The biggest advantage I see this fan having over others is its design. It looks cool but other than that holds no advantage over any other fan on the market. Not worth the outrageous price that is being charged everywhere.
