submitted byMACAVA - 6 months agoA: It doesn't last very long. Any amount of eating or drinking fades it unevenly and it looks bad. Use it to experiment with colors but don't use ELF as your main lip stain.

Q: Do these lip stain glosses come with safety seals on the lipgloss? Or does it just come in the lipgloss packaging with no safety seals?

A: I've bought 3 colors (great stuff!!) for a total of 6 separate purchases, and none have had any sort of seal on the gloss. e.l.f. team, you might want to check on that.

I don't understand the appeal of this product. It barely stains the lips, even after two applications, and I let it sit 3 minutes each time. Then what little is there is gone in no time at all. I'll stick to long-wearing lipstick from now on.

In shade power mauve don’t put to much on as it can stain lips bright pink but it is super glossy and goes well with the cream glide lol liner in spill the tea and the strawberry shortcake shade of glow reviver melting lip balm

I got two colors. A bright red and the deep purple. I’m in love with the purple. It’s such a pretty color just wish I didn’t have to reapply. The red I got was not for me. The tint looked a little orangey which is not right for my skin tone. I gave it to my roommate though and she loved it.

literally love her. it starts as a gloss and dries down to a subtle tint but if u want it more pigmented it works to layer asw. also really moisturizing. it doesn't make my lips looked cracked and dry like other stains but it still gives the depth. the color is so pretty and versatile too.

This lip stain is very glossy and non-sticky. I would recommend the shade "Cinnamon Dreamz" as a good nude color for those with deeper skin tones. While this product does stain as advertised, I don't think it's very long lasting. I still ended up eating and drinking mine off, so I would bring this along while out for a re-apply.

I've bought multiple colors, but heavily rely on the Basic Beige for my daily look. This lip stain is smooth and applies without drying out the lips. The color stays for hours! I typically have pale lips, and this really helps my lips stay prominent again my pale complexion.

The basic beige was daily go to for a long time, before I got really into the current trend of lippies. Pinkies up is also a great natural shade that isn’t too pink or red. Definitely recommend to wear under a gloss or balm

Bought this a while ago, color is fantastic and natural as it fades, one of the longer lasting stains I've tried, great for price, the bottle is small, sleek and compact, cute packaging,feels lightweight on the lips. Wish there was more in the bottle but that goes for everything good.
