submitted byThat Zappa Girl - 10 months agoA: It doesn't last very long. Any amount of eating or drinking fades it unevenly and it looks bad. Use it to experiment with colors but don't use ELF as your main lip stain.

Q: Do these lip stain glosses come with safety seals on the lipgloss? Or does it just come in the lipgloss packaging with no safety seals?

A: I've bought 3 colors (great stuff!!) for a total of 6 separate purchases, and none have had any sort of seal on the gloss. e.l.f. team, you might want to check on that.

Amazing colors. Really good staying power for the price. Maybe around 4 hours of stain. But when they dry down they make your lips very dry. I always have to put lip balm over it or gloss.

I bought the shade "Pinkies Up" and was excited about it! Unfortunately, the product smelled terrible, felt thick, didn't blend easily, and was a very orangey color. Also, the product does not leave a lasting color OR a glossy finish. I dont know if perhaps it was a mistake with manufacturing or something, but I was very disappointed and would not buy this again

Love this shade! (Fiery red) The bottle has lasted me more than a month of applications, don't let the size fool you. It only lasts an hour or two at most, so you have to reapply every so often.

I brought this a while ago, and this is my favorite lip product so far. As far as long lasting, it does stain, but it comes off when you eat. The color I got, Power Mauve, is not too bright but also not too nude, which I love. The texture is really light, but sometimes, after applying, the stain kind of tubes off, so I'm not really sure about that. For the packaging, after you use it for a while, the product gets stuck to the sides of the bottle, which is annoying, since you can see all the product in there, yet you're not able to reach it.

Great stain, color stays after eating and drinking. Cinnamon dreams appears yellow brown upon application but deepens to a lovely glossy reddish brown on the lips. I will definitely be purchasing other colors!
