Packaging problem
The only reason I’m giving the runner 2 stars is due to packaging. I ordered online & when it arrived it had a huge black spot running down the one side. It wasn’t wrapped in plastic, just riding around the back of the delivery truck getting dirty. Since it’s a non washable rug I had no choice but to return it.

$60 for a piece of crap. First off too expensive. Second off the chemical smell from this rug is the WORST, washed it in washing machine, air dry two times and the smell still won’t go away. Don’t buy. Chemical piece of junk.

Beyond Disappointed
Like most Target brand items lately, quality has decreased and price has increased. This rug is paper-thin and doesn’t have a rubber backing. It slides all over the floor without a rug mat, and even then it doesn’t stay in place well. The rug is also fraying at the edges after having the rug for less than a week. I’ve bought Target rugs for years, and this one is just not up to the same quality or standards I’d expect from Target.

Smells like formaldehyde.
The rug itself is beautiful. However, it smells SO bad I have to return it. Tried airing it out for 5 days. It never dissipates. The second you close the windows the smell is back. I can literally still smell it on myself in my office at work. It’s burning my eyes and making me feel sick. Imagine what the chemicals are doing to our health. I have a small dog and I refuse to let her lay on this. Returning and ordering a 100% cotton rug. If you’re at all concerned for your own health/wellbeing, do NOT buy this rug.

Nice pattern and colors.
The rug has a geometric pattern of taupe, grey and beige. Colors are very nice. It vacuums nice. The backing is a rough jute. It would definitely need a pad on a wood floor. I bought it for my camper, so it needs to be moved around a lot because of the slide outs. I would prefer a rubber non slip backing, thus the 4 star. I will look around for something to adhere to the backing. I purchased two runners and the smallest size.
