Works a little too well. Put it on my 3 year old to try and help with his thumb sucking it worked amazing but when I tried to take it off it wouldn’t come off, I tried why they recommended and it didn’t work.

Tried to use on my 2yr old, he’s always biting his nails. Didn’t do anything to help stop him from biting. When I first tried it I was hopeful because he almost immediately put his fingers in his mouth and then pulled them right out. Next couple of times, it’s like it either started to taste good to him or it just faded fast because here we are back to square one of the nail biting. Lol

Okay so, this product works SUPER well. you have to apply a few layers and/or reapply it every few days because it chips off but that is with almost any nail polish. It has this bitter taste to it that kind of absorbs into your tongue? for a little. Really gives you that signal to STOP biting. It isn't too nasty though, like I am not gagging from the taste. Just a subtle "hey.. don't do that". The product also gives you a little layer on your nails so if you have brittle and thin nails like me, it helps. Do NOT suck your fingers if they are saucy, you'll regret it every time. use a napkin or wash your hands. i know, i am gross. oh and if you have an animal that likes to lick, don't forget that they can't lick ur nails. it won't harm them but they will taste it too.anyways, really great product! i recommend pairing it with some cuticle oils or something if you have a problem biting you skin around the nails too or if you pick. it helped me a lot as well.

Alright, this stuff is foul, as it should be. BUT it needs to not transfer so easily... Touch nose all can smell, touch your skin anywhere (genitals included) you're gonna taste/smell it.... It is something else, here's to breaking biting habits and doing anything with your handsssss

I am in awe at how well this worked to break my 6 year old’s thumb sucking habit. She would suck her thumb constantly when her hands were idle and nothing we tried worked. I honestly didn’t think this nail polish would work either, but I was willing to try anything. It’s been about a month since I applied the nail polish for the first time and she hasn’t sucked her thumb once since that day! I am so happy I gave this a try.

My three year old picked up a thumb-sucking habit from a friend at preschool, and once it took hold, we were unable to get him to stop. We tried everything we could think of. Even though he seemed to understand that it wasn’t a behavior we supported and that he could pick up germs and get sick, he would mindlessly put his thumb in his mouth dozens of times a day. We finally put this nail polish on his nails, and reapplied it a few times over the course of a week, and that broke the habit completely. It really does taste awful, so as soon as it touched his tongue, he would immediately stop. It’s been months, and he has never started back. I don’t think the bad taste lasted that long, which may be a drawback for some, but I am glad it didn’t because I’d hate for him to have to taste it while eating or brushing his teeth.

This product did not keep my 2yo from sucking his thumb. I was so hopeful after seeing the reviews but needed to come and leave true, unpaid feedback for any other mamas out there. My son noticed the funny taste but I'm pretty sure in a couple of sucks he'd removed the nail polish completely. Sigh. Save yourself the 11dls!

I tried everything for many years to get my child to stop thumb sucking. My child at age 7 was still sucking his thumb. I was desperate and the only thing I had not tried was this. The only thing the dentist said they don’t feel comfortable recommending and advise against it. It worked in ONE DAY!

It tastes DISGUSTING which is what’s so good about it. My nails are so much longer and healthier than they were before from all the biting and peeling I’d do with my mouth. I don’t recommend it for people who may throw up easily, because I’ll be honest it does give that sensation for a few seconds, but it goes away quickly.

This polish really did help curb my son's nail biting habit, but it doesn't last very long, especially with frequent hand washing. As long as you're good about reapplying, this can certainly help reduce bad habits

I've been using this for about four days now, and I love it! My nails are already noticeably longer. This thing tastes SO bad and chemically that I in no way want to put my nails in my mouth, which not only helps with nail growth but is also more sanitary. I definitely recommend this product for you if you constantly have the urge to bite your nails no matter how hard you try. 15/10

Literally don’t understand the negative reviews on this! It stopped my 2 year old thumb sucking in 2 days! This has been great!!! Dries pretty quick. Taste is very strong which deters him from thumb sucking. I tried it on one of my thumbs and it was nasty and can see why it works! I needed an option as he was starting to get infections in his thumbs from constantly putting them in his mouth! This has been a literal life saver! Thank you for making this product available and making it safe for toddlers!!!

We bought this nail polish because our 2 year old would suck her thumb all day since she was a baby, we tried so many things including the thumb guard but she started sucking her other fingers and her thumb started to deform, we bought this nail polish and she stopped, we kept applying the nail polish every two days and by a week she has completely forgotten about her thumb and we no longer need to apply the nail polish. I’m so thankful for this nail polish now her thumb can heal and her teeth won’t deform as well.

This came half empty with crusty nail polish all around the inside of the cap. It didn’t look like it had leaked in shipping so I’m assuming someone used it and returned it. Website won’t let me return by mail or fix the issue, which kinda stinks. Please Target check your merchandise before shipping!!
