Q: Why does the water come out the small hole on the lid?

A: I find this to be a product defect — you have to ensure the rubber seal for the flip top which is for the easy refill is put in securely. It easily slips and has leaked several times.

A: Hi Red, The 18oz Ello Pop & Fill Stainless Steel Water Bottle measures 9.25 inches high and 3.18 inches wide, while the larger 32oz version measures 11.03 inches high and 3.59 inches wide. Both bottles are made of vacuum-insulated stainless steel with a plastic flip-top locking lid and have the same leakproof, double-wall design. The only difference is the size and capacity—the 32oz version is taller and wider, but the overall look and features are the same.

This bottle is actually one of the best bottles we've had, and we've gone through a few! I normally don't like the metal bottles because of noise and dent-ability issues since we are a clumsy household, but the kid has taken to using a bottle sling bag anyway so we're good there. Anyhoo, this bottle kept water cold all day, even sitting in the car for a few hours on a 90+ day! I love the “pop” top, it makes it so you can easily add ice, quickly refill it, and cleaning is a breeze. I don't like bottles with straws because of extra cleaning steps and durability issues, but this bottle works fine without it which is great. The color/design is awesome, the sparkles really catch the sun, so my daughter loves it. Ello is a brand we trust and they did not disappoint with this product, we definitely recommend it!

Cheap Plastic
I purchased this cup and within a week the clear plastic lid broke which makes this cup no longer spill-proof. I went online and purchased a new lid from the company and the same thing happened the second time I used this cup. This never happened with my other cups from Owala… so I won’t be purchasing again. I really liked the design and colors but the top piece is so cheap and breaks very easily.

Wish I had read the reviews before buying. It leaks so bad! My poor kindergartner has come home soaked twice. First time I thought it was because I forgot the straw but it just leaks horrible when turned upside down or on its side. Even with the lid on.

cannot stop the leaking
I loved the design when I purchased. I liked that they were easy to open and refill, however the seals do not fit right and it leaks if tipped over. It doesn't just leak a little bit.. it pours out of the cracks of the lids. I had such high hopes for these but my kids can't even use them because they leak in their backpacks.

I bought my kids these for school. By week 3 the plastic ring inside the lid started to fall out. I would reattach it but it wouldn’t sealed as tight. Which then caused the water bottle to always leak if it wasn’t straight up. I do not recommend these for elementary school kids. Trashed these and now to another different water bottle

My daughter LOVES her new bottle
My daughter LOVES her new Ello water bottle since the pink with strawberry pattern is cute and it’s easy to use. It is now her top choice for bringing to school. I like the Quick Fill lid since I can fill it without unscrewing the lid and the opening is big enough for ice and filling with the fridge dispenser. I also like leaving the fill lid open while storing in the cabinet so it can dry fully while leaving the lid screwed on the bottle. The lock on the side is great for backpacks since it prevents the button and the fill lid from opening accidentally.

The stainless steel keeps drinks cold for a good amount of time which makes it great for school or sports. It is completely leak proof which gives me peace of mind when tossing it in a backpack. Pretty but flawed lid
I bought the purple holographic one for my daughter, put some of her favorite stickers on it, and within the week the clear part of the lid broke where it latches. She swore she didn't drop it but i wasn't so sure. I talked to ello and they kindly sent a replacement lid free of charge. The day I washed the replacement and put it on I was sitting at the table with her and I see her take a drink and close it and it pops back open. She groaned and said not againnn. I was shocked that it broke so easily. It wasn't being mistreated. Just closed by a 7 yr old. The thin clear plastic by the latch broke again. Same way. Junk.
