  • A: no lids. I put a silicone lid on mine if my coffee sits for awhile. this extends the length of the charge.

For best care and maintenance, we would recommend rinsing your mug with water soon after finishing your beverage to avoid letting it sit on the paint for too long. For best results, we also recommend hand-washing the Ember with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft sponge.

    This is my third Ember

    This is my third Ember cup I think the color is very nice. The size is nice. It’s built well it charges well. The last software upgrade on the app improved things some but it still loses connectivity and a little bit difficult to deal with particularly when you’re turning it on and setting up presets on the temperature it doesn’t seem to want to update and you have to restart the app in order to make it function properly . I’ve always liked the concept and it works well for me. I like my coffee very hot. I wish I could heat it up hotter than what’s available. Not a lot hotter just a little bit above 150°.

    I like this product, like I liked the one I bought several years ago. I had hoped, though, that in the few years since my first Ember purchase, the engineers would have found a way to give the mug better battery life. If I take it from it’s charger to the other side of my office, it’s down to zero in an hour. A brand new battery should last longer.

    The mug is amazing. I love it. The charging coaster is not reliable and for my 3 mugs, I’ve had to replace about 6 coasters. While I love the mug itself, the company is very disorganized and customer service is abysmal. I’ve had multiple problems with my multiple purchases from them. If it was any other product I would’ve written them off completely and never done business with them again. But when the mug works, I absolutely love it. So it is a love-hate relationship. Hence the 3-star rating.

    We have had heat cups before but this one is the best. Programmable, sleek design, nice color choices. I bought the cover. Too bad that wasn’t included. Price is a little steep but so far it seems worth it. I would recommend a purchase.
