NOT WORTH IT! If i could give zero stars i would. Extremely disappointed. After 3 days of use, the mug began to heat up my coffee way past my set temperatures - literally burning my tongue. Then it stopped connecting to Bluetooth. Then It took a week to get a replacement mug from Ember. Then after a week of using the replacement mug, it began to have charging issues. I am extremely disappointed with this product.

I received the Ember mug as a Christmas present. Beautiful color and sleek design; however, there's an obvious flaw with the battery. Five minutes after being fully charged and removed from the charging coaster, the app displays 95% battery, and after forty-five minutes, it drops to 6%. It definitely fails and doesn't maintain temperature for 1.5 to 80 minutes.

I've had this mug for a year and really love it. The only problem I have is the rounded bottom makes it so easy to tip. One slight push or nudge and it knocks over since the bottom is not flat. Mine charges fine and stays hot but I've knocked it over a few times by barely hitting it. Other than that mug is great. I don't use it for first cup of the day since I drink that one fast. But afternoon cup or a cup of tea to drink slow stays nice and hot. Nothing worse than taking a sip of cold drink that's been sitting a while.

Stupid design on 16oz lid you cant tell if its closed or open or what side to drink out of. If you accidentally drink out of the wrong side coffee hits you in the eyes. It is worse early in the morning when its still kind of dark outside. Also you adjust the color but its never your color it stays mostly just white

This was given to me by my daughter because I was habitually allowing my coffee to get cold. I love this cup and have used it almost every day for several years.

I like the mugs, but the battery life is terrible. 80 minutes for the large mug. and the battery drains when it's not being used. I charge it at 100% and overnight it will drop to 65%. Otherwise, it keeps my coffee hot and I like being able to regulate the temp. At the default temperature the coffee gets burned pretty fast. I keep it at 125º. Just need to beef up the battery life. Leaving the mug on the charger all dies sucks up electricity,

Save your money. I love my coffee hot and after reading reviews and product descriptions thought this was what I would like. It keeps one cup warm for about 30 minutes then done. I thought I would have at least a couple hours of a hot beverage. The mug has to go back on the charger to keep beverage hot, charge depletes rather quickly. After being on the charger all night, this morning the mug was 5% charged. If you have to keep the mug on the charger it would make sense to just buy a product that is a mug warmer where you must keep mug on the warmer and not worry about recharging. A return is not possible. Web site says there is a 30 day window for returns. I got this as a Christmas gift. My husband bought the mug before Christmas, once I started using it the 30 days was almost up. Took a few more days of using the mug to discover it doesn’t work as described. Back to regular reheating my coffee in the microwave. Great idea, wish it worked.

Got this at Christmas. Had to remove and re sync to Bluetooth every time I used it. Did not run while on the charging plate, and took nearly half a day to charge. Options were full refund or replace with a different color (no copper available at the time)

To all who purchase or own ember mug, beware, they do not stand behind their products. If something goes wrong. I've owned 2 mugs, and I had issues 3 times within a 1 1/2 year and they did not stand behind it twice, the mugs stopped working. And stopped connecting to your app. The heating plate stopped working, and now my mug again is not communicating with app and their resolution is will give you a discounted price

I got the mug and it worked for a few times in a short period of time. In recently months I haven't been able to connect it. I followed the available instructions and reset the app and data many times but the mug just sits on my counter wasting space.

It stopped working 2 weeks after 1 year. Company was not helpful. They said after a year, buyer needs to pay for repair. Disappointing for the price point.

I have purchased two of these and for awhile (last one worked for only three months) and both have malfunctioned for the same reason. The pins on the coaster break down and will no longer keep the cup charged. When they worked they worked great. Unfortunately, they don't last very long before this defect renders them useless.

This is a tea and coffee game changer. I love controlling the mug through the app for sure

Gave it as a Christmas gift and she loved it. She said it was easy to learn how to use, and you can set it to a specific temperature. Definitely lives up to the hype and price. Well worth it. I ordered mine online through the Target app and it arrived safely and really well packaged.

My first Ember 14 oz mug lasted 3 years to the week after being used 3 times a day. The mug was still in perfect condition but the battery died. The charger pins gave out after a year or so on the coaster so I did have to buy another coaster. I have had my second Ember cup for 14 months now and it is still in perfect condition. I plan to buy another one soon to keep on hand for whenever this one dies because I simply cannot be without this cup. I absolutely love it! I like to linger over my email in the morning while enjoying my first cup of coffee and now it stays hot for over an hour. I rinse it out under running hot water and wipe clean with a sponge and carefully dry with the dish towel before putting i back on the coaster. I have had no issues with peeling or stains as some people have reported.

Purchased one for my wife this Christmas. She loved it so much, I had to get one for myself! I love it too. keeps my Joe at the perfect temp!

After using it for a year, my mug has started to lose the paint from the bottom. The problem is that I'm ingesting this paint. It's true that it doesn't cause me any problems while using it, but what mug gets damaged using ordinary metal spoons? I don't recommend it for the price; it's not worth what it costs.

loved ember cup when it want to work! The temp is not heating up my cup. Purchased the mug 2 years ago. Oh well.
