I bought the 2-pack for myself and my daughter who has PCOS. We just learned that she doesn't sweat which can be dangerous. I hate the heat with a passion but I also have severe chronic pain due to spine injuries so I'm hoping the Embr will help with that. It's easy to use, looks stylish and I can't wait to see what other uses this can be used for.

Fairly new to the Wave game, and I run hot all the time. I sweat profusely when others don't at all. I was anxious to see how well this would work. So far, I can't say I sweat any less or cool off when wearing this device. I adjust it to highest cool setting using the app too. I feel it get cold on my wrist,, but can't say it goes nay further for me. I want to be fair because I haven't had it very long, so I give it 3 stars just in case it is making a difference that I haven't noticed yet. Hopefully, over time it makes a difference in my life. But if you're like me - on the hot side - I might hold off on this purchase.

I bought my Wave when hot flashes started. It has been wonderful to have instant relief from sudden unbearable heat! Conversely, I use the heat function when I freeze in the winter. It's also great for calming me in stressful situations. If I had a dollar for everyone I have demonstrated it to, I could buy a couple more bands!

Rented this to make sure it worked for me before buying. First, that renting is even an option. I've been burned so many times! I have long had issues with temperature regulation, so I wasn't sure if the Embr Wave would alleviate any of it. I was surprised when it did. I was still hot or cold, but the worst parts of it all, the Embr Wave device helped with. Hoping to properly buy it soon!

This product is the only thing that has ever helped me with my hot flashes (short of a walk-in freezer)! It has been a Godsend. The warmth it produces, when cold, is equally comforting. This device works. The Embr Wave 2 works as long as you are sitting at home and not moving. I had a hysterectomy at the age of 42, I have the great privilege of being blessed with night sweats and hot flashes. It works well for those symptoms as long as you are not out side, or inside moving around. I have been dealing with the invisible disease, Multiple Sclerosis—MS—which can cause the person with the disease to feel 20° to 30° hotter than a person without MS, humidity exacerbates the symptoms of heat. I was hoping that it would help a little with my MS in the Arizona spring/summer (because we do not have season here, it is warm, warmer, hot, mucking hot, and hot & humid.)

Temperature issues can be really tricky, especially when the weather is working against you! While we wish Embr Wave could make it feel perfectly breezy when the sun is blazing outside, the Wave is more about bringing your body back into balance--so if you're hot flashing during a heat wave, it will help you curb the hot flash... but you'll probably still feel some of the heat wave like you would normally. Since you're just starting out with the Wave, we hope you might stick around a little bit longer to see if you find a good routine! We've heard from many users that Embr Wave gets more and more effective the longer they use it, and you may find there are different types of sessions in the app that end up working better for you. This is my 2nd Embr. I feel the older model worked better than the new one I got. This one overheats and really doesn't get as cold as the older model. I'm a bit disappointed.

Fell in love and relief with this device almost immediately. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, and with all the inflammation my body goes through, maintaining my body temperature is very unstable. I'm so grateful to finally have relief! No side effects, no pills or creams. Just temperature control throughout the day and night. Worked so good for me, my fiance bought one for himself! I have had my Embr wave for 6 months. I found it to be extremely helpful in the winter months. Having RA staying warm is necessary to help prevent my joints from stiffening and hurting. I was able to program my Embr for work hours and didn’t have to worry about feeling cold. The Embr kept my body temp regulated, and when I needed to have an unscheduled boost of warmth, I just had to push a button! I gave 3 stars because now that it’s summer, I have not found that the Embr helps regulate my body temp. Im still running warm even with it programed. I’m hoping a little more time and this device will help in the summer as much as it did in the winter
