Dead Less Than 24 Hours After Use
I bought these batteries on 11/30/25 to put in outdoor candy cane lights for my Christmas decorations. On 12/1/25, less than 24 hours later, the batteries are dead. I picked up two new candy cane lights to round out my display and only those two are lit. All the ones in the middle are dead. These are namebrand batteries that are, according to the packaging, supposed to last up to 100% longer than standard minimum average duration. Batteries are too expensive to not work for even 24 hours after using them. Either Energizer or Target needs to run me my money back because this is ridiculous.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oddly enough I’m picky about what batteries I used due to their longevity and a big one for me is leakage. I HATE when batteries leak and these never did. We have a toddler so we’re going through a lot of batteries right now and these ones lasted her most used toy the longest so far!
