It has a soft texture and comes in a decent sized bag for potting projects. I love that it's made of organic coconut husks if you choose to grow organic foods!

Although, you shouldn't forget about watering them if you want them to look beautiful and healthy every day 😉

Since it is buffered, it provides a stable pH in your soil and has a low salt content. I use this product in tandem with lava rock for all of my succulents and cacti.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a quality mix, with no huge chunks or "junk" like I've found in some other planting mixes. My rose bushes needed some love after a move, so this was just the thing to give them a comfy repotting for Spring! The perlite is an important addition to help aerate and hold onto moisture - roses love water, but hate "wet feet", so perlite is a nice solution. Looking forward to starting a patio veggie garden with this mix in a couple of weeks as well.
