Description
Grow and feed your favorite succulents with Miracle-Gro® Cactus, Palm & Citrus Potting Mix. This container mix is enriched with Miracle-Gro® Plant Food and features a fast-draining formula. Get beautiful, colorful results with this mixture of forest products, sphagnum peat moss, sand, and perlite. To use, start with a pot with a drain hole and fill 1/3 full with soil. Place the root ball of your plant in the soil and add more mix. Press lightly; water the plant and let drain. Let the soil dry to the touch between waterings. Do not allow plants to sit in drainage water. Repotting citrus annually to the next larger size container will encourage fruiting. We recommend wearing gardening gloves and washing hands after using this and other garden products. One 8 qt. bag of Miracle-Gro® Cactus, Palm & Citrus Potting Soil fills two 8-inch containers (amounts may vary based on the size of the root ball).

Unfortunately, soils may become infested with insects while in storage or while they are waiting for sale. Q: My Christmas cactus soil was very wet. It soon dried out very quickly and turned hard I can't test it. I watered it until the water ran through and took a few limp ones off. No life. Do I repot it?

Previously, I purchased this for a succulent plant. This summer, I bought fresh bag to repot my snake plant into a large container. I never had a problem with this brand of commercially produced soil. It helps when you don't have the time to make your own soil.

I have tried many different other soils and never had good luck repotting my plants but using this for my cactuses and succulents is always the best because it always makes them thrive

This is a really great soil. Miracle -Gro cactus , plan and citrus soil provided the nutrients for my plants to thrive. I can’t wait to plant more plants. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Miracle-Gro is a name and product, I trust, I have been using it for years to help keep my plants healthy and revitalize some neglected ones. The Cactus Palm Citrus potting soil is just what I needed for my poor aloe plant that out grew a smaller pot. I simply and the soil to the pot high enough to add the plant to the desired height, then added more soil, patted it down, and then added some water. It is quick drying, and none of the water ran straight through the soil. I then did the same process with a neglected succulent plant. I am happy with how it looks, and I know my plant will recover and grow quicker now that it is getting the needed nutrients from the soil. I highly recommend Miracle-Gro soil.

I gave it to a friend who mostly grows cacti and she said it was PERFECT, she believed that it was one of the best sound’s shes used and stated she would again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a product where you get a lot for the cost which is nice in today’s world but I don’t think this soil does a great job with my succulents and controlling the moisture. It would be nice to have a resealable package instead of having to find a clip or rubber and to close the bag. Our plants developed fungus gnats around the time this potting mix was introduced and I think that was related to the moisture control that this soil lacks.

I've always loved Miracle Grow, I use their potting mix for all my veggies and flowers and you can really notice a difference. I never knew they made a specific one for succulents and cacti but wish I had known all along. I can never seem to get my succulents to stay alive, no matter what I do, so I jumped at the chance to try this. There was such a noticeable difference in the health of my succulents, I had used plain store brand potting soil to originally plant them which was a mistake because 2 days later they looked so sad. I replanted them all with this Miracle Grow and they looked so much happier in just a day. I love the Miracle Grow brand and have never had one bad experience with them, definitely will be buying in the future
