I bought mine about eight months ago. I really love it, prints good Every time, there is so much ink left. It will probably last me another two years. Very happy with my purchase. Also, back loading so I can print on card stock for making cards.

This is my second eco tank printer. The first one I had some problems with but nothing like this. This printer only works correctly 25% of the time. It is always jamming or not grabbing on to the paper to properly feed into printer. It is stuck telling me I have a paper mismatch with my computer. I do not. It has been verified countless time. I will not be purchasing another Epson printer ever. This was a huge waste of money. DO NOT BUY!!

Not A Good Choice for ChromeBook Users

Bought this a few months ago and waited until now to review to get a good idea how it would work. It works okay. I got this to replace a Brother All-In-One that was not working with my new Acer Chromebook. (It worked fine with my old Samsung Chromebook that was no longer supported via wifi.) The EcoTank 2850 works okay on just the minimum programs. I can get it to print through my wifi if I'm persistent enough and keep adding the printer, and turning off/on. But forget trying to send a scan via wifi. At least I could load a scan on a USB on my old Brother. The EcoTank doesn't have one. I'm pretty bummed out about it but not bummed enough to go buy a Mac or Windows computer.

Why oh why will the 2-sided printing happen when I want it to? And no matter how I set all the settings for 2-sided printing they don't stick ? Not very good machine in my opinion.

I wanted to use this printer in my classroom but unfortunately it has been printing with gaps and lines that make it too unprofessional for me to use regularly. I so want to use a tank for my printing but has needed to have the print heads cleaned and maintenance needs to be done before every print job and then it goes to missing lines again. Its too much hassle for my teaching job. I'm using my much older printer that still prints great after 5 years and still going strong.

I have a MacBook Pro. The Wifi wireless connection option is a waste of time; after numerous tries it simply doesn't work. Once I joined the printer to my computer with a USB cable Voila! computer and printer could talk to one another. Since it doesn't come bundled with the computer I had to buy a cable. Irritating.

I had no problem with the printer. It was printing my assignments fast. After my semester was over I tried to print again and the colored ink tank jammed. It wasn't a big issue but it bothered me. Now my printer decided to stop printing normally. I changed to this brand printer because I heard good things about it. I don't know if it's just this printer in general. I'm just going to throw it away since this no longer works.

DON'T DO IT. Most annoying piece of equipment I've ever used. Returning. The control buttons make NO SENSE. Screen is so tiny, I can't read it. It's about 1.5 " x 1.5" !!!!!

It does a job. It'll print... and print a legible document; however, don't expect graphics or images to look good. It has the poor printing quality of an early 90's at home printer, grainy and muted. Thanks for the throwback. Top picture is my old HP printer and bottom is my brand new Epson printer.

Worked fairly well for just over a year. Shortly after warranty expired the print heads failed or jammed. No color printing is possible anymore and the black is sporadic. Why do all of these companies have to make everything with intentional designed obsolescence?

I honestly wish I had gotten a different brand entirely. It worked fine for the first month and then all the problems started. First it just wouldn't print anything , I later found out it thought my very normal PDFs were in some way encrypted and it didn't like that. Then it all of a sudden it wouldn't work with any of the paper I use. I have 4 packs of standard 8.5 x 11 printer paper and I have to stand by it every single time I need to print because I have to tell it to use the same exact paper it didn't have an issue with 3 months ago. Now it jams all the time and leaves giant ink splotches on everything , or it prints the page but all the text is super faint and has what looks like tv static lines going through it. Not to mention , if you don't use it for even less than a week it'll get so clogged up you have to physically open it up and clean the nozzles. So you end up with ink all over your fingers.

Worse printer ever. It is constantly going offline is giving a filter error message and I have to spend hours turning it off and on. Reinstalling the drivers, restarting my MacBook, etc. Of course it's a couple of months over the warranty time or I would return this piece of junk.
