Q: How much pause time, when combining ingredients, is there before the measurement clears? I ask because my current scale resets in the midst of adding ingredients, if I’m not quick enough.

A: The measurement will not clear as long as you have something on the scale. You can reset the measurement to 0 by pressing the "tare" button.
